This request is on behalf of a Hope Florida participant and her daughter. She is a single mom and doing everything she can to rebuild her life after escaping an abusive relationship. She has full care of her 11-year-old daughter, and despite a court-issued restraining order, her father provides no financial support. Since losing her job in November, she has struggled to pay rent, put food on the table, and meet my child’s basic needs. Recently, she was offered a job as a Restaurant Manager at the Kippton Hotel—a vital opportunity to regain stability—but it is 4.5 miles from their home, and she has no way of transportation. She is humbly asking for help to obtain a bicycle, which would make it possible for her to get to work and provide for her daughter. This small act of support would mean the world to them and could mark the beginning of a new, hopeful chapter in their lives. This family is working hard to rebuild stability after experiencing a series of setbacks. The single mother, who is disabled, recently lost both her housing and transportation following a serious car accident that left her severely injured. Though she has made significant progress in her recovery, she continues to face challenges. Currently staying with relatives temporarily, she is actively working with CARES to secure affordable housing and has been connected to housing assistance. She hopes to return to part-time work and enroll her daughter in daycare. To support this transition, the mother is requesting new clothing and shoes for her daughter, including shirts and shorts (size 7/8), tennis shoes or sandals (size 12–1), and hair ties. The child especially enjoys Bluey, Minecraft, Roblox, and anything princess-themed, with favorite colors being pink and purple—though the mother noted that anything in any color would be appreciated. Providing these items would not only help her daughter feel confident and prepared to start daycare but also ease financial pressure, allowing the mother to focus her limited resources on securing housing and transportation.

Single mother of two is a domestic violence survivor, trying to provide for her children without any support from the perpetrator who has taken off on her and the children. She is past due on the car insurance and needs gas money to take the children to and from school as well as obtain a job. The mother's phone is also past due and needs it to stay on to communicate with employers to look for a job.

Single mom of 4 children has been unable to work outside the house since she has needed to be home to care for her special needs son. She is in need of assistance to pay her phone/internet bill by 5/22. She plans to start a remote, on-line job this week to help her improve her financial situation. Thank you for your consideration.

This request is for a Hope Florida participant that is a mother of a child with a medical condition. This family is struggling with insufficient food due to lack of income. They are in need of high protein food items. The food pantries available do not have the required items they need to maintain the specific diet the child needs. The cost of the foods required for her diet are higher priced. Unfortunately, the child is not able to eat the foods recommended by her doctor for her medical condition. This family is asking for your help with a grocery card. Please lessen the worry and stress of this mom to be able to properly feed this child. The family is in need of help. Their home is overrun with roaches, making it an unsafe environment for their two young children—both under the age of 3. The situation is even more heartbreaking as the mother is expecting another child, carrying new life into a home that is barely livable. They are desperate for assistance to afford pest control services, a necessary step toward creating a safe, healthy space for their growing family. Without support, the children and unborn baby remain vulnerable to the dangers of the infestation.
