I have been working with a family taking them food. I also got them some help getting a portion of their electric bill paid. The student is a plus size kid that needs 5x t-shirts. The locations I have access too did not have any t-shirts in his size. A 3 pack of t-shirts on amazon is approximately $40 for his size. He has clothing but most of what he has is torn or full of holes. He gets picked on at school because of it and causes him to get in trouble or not attend school.

We are in a need of a new or gently used twin size bunk beds for two brothers ages 7 & 5 . They are already in trial reunification with their mother and CASA learned the boys are sharing a bed. Mother has limited income and is unsure when she'll be able to purchase bunk beds. While there is no current safety issue, the team agrees it is more appropriate for them to have their own sleeping space and have a sense of privacy. We have already reached out to other community partners with no luck. It would be a blessing if someone is able to donate bunk bed frame with mattress. Mother has worked hard to get where she is right now. She has had difficulty with transportation to and from her services as well as family time. A bus pass will help her out tremendously.

We have a very loving family that is waiting on home approval and has not yet received stipend. Resource parent is having a very rough financial month and is asking for help with getting child placed some clothes. Resource parent stated child does not have any summer clothes such as, shorts and short sleeve shirts. Child wears size 5 in boys bottoms/shorts and size 6 boys shirts. I am working on a case for a single mother of two children. She is currently attending preventive classes for domestic violence and is making great progress. She is actively seeking employment, but she is having difficulty managing her schedule without a stroller to help transport her one-year-old son and two-month-old daughter. This mother is looking for a new or used double stroller to assist her in safely navigating their daily activities.

A single parent foster home has a child with higher needs to which she has to leave work daily to pick the child up to attend therapy then commute back to work. This request is for funds or a gift card to help put towards gas for this daily commute as therapy does not have a foreseeable end date and additional support is needed for the home. Any contribution to this would be much appreciated to this very deserving family.

Spero is helping a single mom with two kids (11 and 12) from Burma move out on her own. This family has been through a lot and we would love to be able to set them up with some furniture items for their new apartment. They move in May 1st and will need beds, a dining table, and a couch. Secondhand items in good condition would be great! Anything to help this family with their fresh start is a huge support. Thank you so much!

This is a request for help obtaining tickets for day admission to the OKC Zoo. A mother and her three children ages (7, 6, & 4) have been in trial reunification for two months. Maternal grandmother also resides in the home and is an added support for the family. They are on a very fixed income and during a home visit with CASA, the mother mentioned she would love to be able to take the kids to the zoo, but that it would be too expensive. The children's basic needs are being met, but extra outings that would provide family fun and enrich their lives, are simply out of reach for this young family. If a church is able to donate tickets for the family, I am confident the family would have the time of their lives. These kiddos have never been to a zoo. This request is for neighbors of RestoreOKC. This is an older couple raising their teenage children ages 13, and 14 who need household furniture for the whole house, and they also need rental assistance. The mother and father are unable to work due to health conditions. The father receives SSI, and it was recently stolen, and SSI is doing an investigation on the report. So, this has put the family behind for rent from last month. RestoreOKC would love for a church to come along and help this family with support, love and kindness.

This family is a family of 5. The mother is a single mom who has recently been reunified with her 4 children. The mother is currently working and has just recently saved up enough money to purchase herself a vehicle. The vehicle has helped the mom be able to provide safe transportation to get her children to and from school and to all of their services, and her job. Due to all of the recent changes and the purchasing of her car, the mother has come up short of her rent payment. She is still in need of $550 for the month of April. The payment would be made directly to the housing manager. Thank you so much for your support!

This biological mom has been working her case while living in a sober living facility in the OKC metro. She recently graduated this program successfully, early, even, and has now moved into a new facility that will allow her minor child to visit during the weekends. This mom works more than 40 hours a week and has worked incredibly hard to maintain sobriety, as well as to engage in her case services. She has consistently shown concern for her daughter and her state of being, and the Department is excited to move her to overnight visitations. The only barrier we're encountering at the moment is that this mom needs a bassinet, outlet covers, a baby mat, size 4 diapers, baby wipes, and a baby bath in order to make sure the child is comfortable and safe while staying with her mother. Any help would be so appreciated as this mom has worked incredibly hard since becoming involved with the Department and is on track to be reunified with her child.

This is a kinship family. The child in need is a teen. They need a full size mattress. They do not need a bedframe or box springs, only the mattress. They will take anything they can including donated items.
