Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. If you feel led, please consider giving financially so that we can help support this family, allowing all three siblings to have 10 days together this summer. There are two ways to give financially:

A bio mother is in need of financial assistance to pay for a housing application of $50. This mother is needing to move out of her current apartment and wants to be able to reside in a neighborhood that is closer to her children's current placement and in a safer neighborhood so that she can see them more often and have a safe home for them to reunify with her in. This mother currently struggles to see her children as frequently as she was previously due to transportation issues.

Cleveland County Child Welfare is reaching out for your support. Our staff is currently providing around-the-clock care for several youth who require a high level of supervision and are unable to leave our office setting. This care has been ongoing for the past month, with staff remaining in the office day and night to ensure the safety and well-being of these children. Currently we have two youth in the office now planning night sleeping at the office with minimum of 1 to 2 workers included at all times.

We are in need of assistance with snacks, easy-to-prepare meals, and drinks to help sustain both our youth and dedicated staff. Our office is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and Keurig, which allows for limited food preparation. We would be incredibly grateful for a variety of items, including both healthy and fun options, to help keep everyone nourished and comforted during this time. The items they have suggested but not limited to: chips, ramen, apple sauce pouches, lunch meat, cutie oranges, corndogs, White Castle burgers, juices, powerade, bottled water, crystal light packets etc.

Any support your church can provide—whether through food donations, drinks, or meal deliveries—would be deeply appreciated by both our youth and staff.

Hello, I have a teenager that is doing well in a foster home and learning new skills and traits! Recently She learned how to mow the front yard, but ended up leaving the battery out in the rain and it is now ruined. We were hoping that someone would be willing to help replace it or if they had an extra mower laying around that would be very helpful. Thank you!

Single mom is needing assistance with air conditioning. Her air conditioner went out and the technician told her today that they will order the part tomorrow and it will not be here until the end of the week or possibly next week. They also said that if that did not fix it, she would need a new system that she cannot afford and would also take longer to get that installed. The house consists of foster mom, 2 adult children, 1 other adult, 3 children placed in the home through kinship and 4 children placed in the home through traditional foster care. One of the children has special needs. They do not have anywhere to stay as they stated they are the home that everyone comes to stay at. This is an emergency need due to the heat and the children being home all day. We are asking for any assistance with HVAC help/discounts or suggestions.

Bio mom is beginning overnights, but needs a hotel to give her an extra night each week until trial reunification begins. Bio mom has done fantastic during her case, and her children are ready to be home with her full-time. This would help the family continue to bond and strengthen their family unit.

Hello all, I am working with a bio mom who has two young children, 3 yrs and 7 mths. She is very close to starting trial reunification and is in need of support. She is working overtime at her job, but is struggling making the money last to the next paycheck. She reports that her current needs are help with the electricity bill and assistance with fuel for her vehicle.

Please help make a foster placement! A single mom of three biological children took on two additional foster children recently. Mom is needing help with her water bill. The water bill is originally $600, but she is able to cover $200, so she's only needing help with $400. She's also needing assistance with clothing for the foster children (two children), around $300.

Grandmother just got custody of her two small grandkids. She is needing assistance with child care so she can go back to work. The summer program is asking for a $290.00 Enrollment fee that DHS does not cover.

This is a family of three children and two adults who recently had to throw out their furniture due to bed bugs! The bed bugs are gone but they are much need of a couch! Please help this family in need as they have already been through a lot as a family!

This family consists of two girls that have been removed from their home and now are a new foster care home. The girls are planning to go to college, but the new caregiver does not have enough vehicles for each of the kids to go to college. At least one vehicle of any kind would help these kids make the most of their futures.

Hello, I am requesting assistance for a parent on my caseload. This parent is having difficulty paying their rent. The parent is working full-time but recently changed jobs where he is making less. This parent is needing to pay $350.00 in rent to get caught up. This would help the parent to maintain his housing, and to work on services to help reunify his child.
