Family is need of some general supplies. Family is struggling financially and needs a little help getting some general supplies for themselves. Family has 3 children with 1 boy and two girls.

Family needs some cleaning supplies, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, shaving cream, razors, and deodorant.

Families home is an old house and when the tornado came through last year it caused some damage to their roof. the home was built in 1890 and the family has been struggling financially and have been trying to make repairs to their house. When the family moved into the house the rent house they were living in prior was sold out from under them. Children in the home vary in age from 5 years old to 14 years old.

The family needs a dryer, dishwasher, oven, bunk beds and mattresses for 4 girls (they have toddler beds), Table and chairs to fit at least all 6 kids. Small storage shed for bikes and toys on porch. Two exterior doors (32X79), two interior doors (30X79 and 30X76) Two sinks and vanities, two ceiling fans with lights, roof: 300ft of drip edge, 80 3/4 inch plywood for roof and flooring, gutters. 3 boxes of drywall mud, and 2 sheets of plexy glass 4ftx8ft

We have a child that is in the office with very few clothing items. He is in need of underwear, socks, shirts, and shorts. He wears size 14/16 boys. If he could get enough items of clothing to last him 5 days that would help to provide clothes for him throughout the week. Any assistance to meet this need would be greatly appreciated. We appreciate all that you all do in serving the families in our community.

Pottawatomie County Child Welfare is requesting assistance for snacks/easy meals, drinks in the office for a youth and staff. Pottawatomie County Child Welfare Staff will be providing care round the clock care through the week and weekend for a youth who requires a high level of care and cannot leave the office. The office is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, Keurig and microwave. We would appreciate a mix of fun and healthy foods. We could use some bowls, forks as well to be able to cook some of the food we have. The youth does like Mac and Cheese but not the shell type. Our staff and youth will appreciate any support received.

The family has worked hard to have thier daughter back in thier home. The family is expecting a baby girl that is due tomorrow May 17, 2025.

A six-year-old boy is needing a bed so he can secure the same placement as his big sister. He is a very sweet boy who has been missing his sister; he loves cars, spiderman and has a big heart. Please help this little guy out so he can feel more comfortable while in care.

We have a single mom with three children who need rent assistance. The mom works full-time but expects to have SSI benefits in the next month or so, which will help pay the rent. Currently, the mom is due for rent but doesn't have enough money to pay it. The children are in trial reunification and wanted to stay with their mom. We are asking for your help to assist this family so we can successfully reunite the family. Thank you for your help!

I have a mom who has a newborn and is about to be reunified with her 2 sons. She’s been supported by her family the best her family can do, though times and finances are tough. The mother needs some help with bills or she runs the risk of being possibly evicted. Please help assure this mom has a home still for her sons to come home to.

This family is in need of a couch! They are moving into an new apartment due and have faced a tragic situation involving the sudden passing of one of their children. Their old couch was torn up by some foster dogs they were caring for and they are in need of a new one for their family!

I have a 17 year old male child in need of a twin size bed including mattress and box spring. The foster family is on a fixed income so any help would alleviate the burden of an additional expense and allow them to maintain their monthly budget. Any new or gently used donations would be greatly appreciated.

Due to no fault of her own, a very sweet 12 year old girl was moved to a shelter due to no other placement options. This family is working hard to try and reunify in June but since the child no longer lives close to the bio family it has made overnight visits difficult with her in school and DHS not always being able to help with transporting. The shelter is an hour and half away from the bio home. The family has a vehicle but is needing help with paying for gas in order to pick the child up and then transport her back after their weekend visit. The dad is in the process of trying to get on disability and is not able to work and the mom just got a part time job at McDonalds and is paying all of their bills. This family would benefit with a few gas cards to help with the weekly visits until DHS can locate a foster home for the child. Any help for this family will be deeply appreciated by everyone involved.

Hello! I have a young couple on my caseload with an 8 month old child. This couple is doing everything they can to ensure the safety of their child. The father is wanting to complete Drivers Education to obtain his license. As of now, the family Is relying on others and rideshare to get to their numerous appointments on a weekly basis. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
