Single mother of three received a housing voucher but needs help securing deposit. At this time children are staying with grandparents while Mother is in search of housing.

The family is a mother and father of 4 children, and they have falling on hard times and need some help with their rent. Both parents work but they do not make enough to stay afloat. Their rent is $ 1310 and for this month, they have paid $586.45 and is in need of $767.55 to complete the month of June. This family has a child that is diabetic and has to pay a portion of her medication. Mom and dad stated if they can get some help for this month, they will be able to maintain.

The child is on a return and monitor to her mother. While the child was with a foster family the child's "allergies" went away. Both the mother and child sneeze and cough while inside their apartment and the child's "allergies" seem to be coming back. The caseworker has asked the apartment complex to inspect the air filters in the apartment and they said they replaced them and their is no mold. The vents are completely black and the apartment has a strange odor that sticks to your clothes. The caseworker has found an outside contractor that can do a mold check.

Caregiver is the paternal aunt to an 8 month old child who likely has some special needs related to parents substance use. The home is a two story home and there is an upstairs banister that needs repair. The caregiver has had someone out to look at the issue, but they did not know how to repair it, so she is needing help finding a reputable carpenter (or someone that works with staircase banisters) to help get this repaired. It is loose and missing a spindle. She does have the spindle for the repair. We are not too sure what the cost would be on this.
