A church family member has advocated for a friend in need who is looking for a job, but has no transportation to get there. A men's mountain bike would help him get to and from interviews and work, making it easier for him to have an income. Hi, please help this teenage girl get to church camp. The camp is in July. This teen would love to experience going to camp. Her faith is really important to her and a sense of comfort. This teen girl independently goes to church. Her kinship foster parents are older and it is hard for them to contribute to a camp. The total that includes meals, transportation, and overnight stay is $480. Please make this teenage girl’s summer by helping her attend church camp. Anything helps. Thank you!

Safe Families recently has connected with a young mother and her 5 year old son who is currently in a critical situation. She recently underwent surgery for ovarian cancer and is now preparing to begin dialysis treatment on May 5th. As the sole caregiver for her young autistic son, she has been unable to work since her surgery and is now facing the possibility of eviction.

She is currently $430 short on rent and has until Thursday, May 1st to make the payment in full. Without immediate assistance, she and her son will lose their home during an already overwhelming time of medical recovery and transition.

This is a mother who is fighting for her health, caring for her child, and doing everything she can to stay afloat. Meeting this need would not only provide her with stable housing, but with the peace of mind to focus on her healing and caring for her son!

The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children. One of the ways we fight this is through our residential campus for teen girls. As the residents work through the program, we find ways to teach them money management. Unfortunately, some of the residents are not old enough to get a job off campus. We have been able to find jobs for them on campus and pay them with gift cards. Our stock of gift cards is dwindling and are hoping you would be able to help replenish the stash. We are looking for $10 gift cards to a variety of Places; such as Dollar General, Target, Wal Mart, ULTA, or even QuickTrip. We are thankful for your consideration to help provide for the residents. We have a couple from our church needing our help with rent assistance. A while ago, the husband lost his job, which made them rely solely on the wife's income. Since then, the husband found new employment and they are starting to get back on track. Although both are working, the couple is struggling to catch up on rent. As a church family, it's important for us to support and love on this family in any way we can. Please keep this family in your prayers. Anything helps!

One of our church members, who is also a part of John 3:16 recovery program, is overcoming a life of hardship, including discrimination, trauma, a debilitating injury, addiction, and the loss of his family, this individual found salvation in Jesus Christ through a local pastor. Through faith and discipleship, he has been on a journey of recovery and restoration, regaining his physical and spiritual vision, reconciling with family, and aspiring to become a missionary. Now, as he seeks to rebuild his life, he faces a major challenge: obtaining legal U.S. residency and employment. After losing his family due to addiction, he neglected his residency paperwork, and his identification documents were lost or stolen, leaving him unable to work. While a Christian immigration lawyer has waived most legal fees, he still needs $2,200 for paperwork and processing costs. Despite his hardships, he is eager to work and contribute but is currently unable to do so without proper identification and residency documentation. He trusts that God will provide but is seeking support to bridge the gap in this critical time.

Single mom with kids at Smith Elementary, a BattleCreek Owasso community partner, has three kids and needs funds to avoid eviction.
