Many of our clients have transportation issues and cannot make it to the Pregnancy Care Center of Zephyrhills for services. We are not allowed to transport clients and there isn't any good public transportation in the area. We are looking for ten $15 Uber or Lyft gift cards that we can give to our clients.

Your assistance would bring stability and comfort to this family during a time of rebuilding.

A single mother of three is seeking assistance to purchase orthopedic shoes for one of her children, who has been diagnosed with flat feet and is currently under the care of a podiatrist. This child has additional medical needs and frequent appointments, which has made it difficult for the mother to maintain employment at this time. In addition to the specialized shoes, the mother is also requesting support with clothing and footwear for her other two children. Providing these essentials would greatly ease the financial burden on this family and help ensure the children’s comfort and well-being. This request is on behalf of a young single mother with a 3-year-old child. Recently, they were involved in a car accident that left their vehicle inoperable for an extended period. Prior to the accident, the mother was earning income as an Uber driver, but she is currently unable to work without access to her car. As a result, she has fallen behind on her utility bills and is now facing an outstanding balance on her electricity account. Any support during this difficult time would be deeply appreciated.

This family has adopted three of their relative's children. One of the children has various developmental and sensory issues. The caregiver has been working tirelessly with therapeutic providers and other educational specialists to address the children's reading and other developmental and behavior concerns. The child has received a diagnosis that requires him to wear specialized eyeglass lenses. The caregiver is struggling to pay this cost as she has already spent a significant amount of money to begin addressing this child's need. The caregiver is requesting assistance for the balance of 275.00 for the eyeglasses. We have the invoice for the glasses from the parent.

We are currently assisting a family of 5 that needs assistance with gas for vehicle. The mom is the only one that is employed, the dad is disabled due to a terrible accident. Mom works hard in home health but as she's the only one working they could use help alleviating the added financial strain gas for her vehicle is causing. Dad said they just need a hand to get over this hurdle and a prayer.

Two struggling, working parents with a 6 month old child are trying to stabilize in a hotel before they can move into an affordable housing option next month. They are both working, working opposite schedules to allow for childcare for their son. They are waiting on a paycheck from their employer tonight, which will help pay for a few nights. Any assistance with a night or two in a hotel and some food for the family would be helpful to get them to their next housing placement. The father is so grateful for the help our agency has provided and does not want to ask for more help but he feels this could get them into a better place financially so they can move into an apartment next month. A grandma is guardian of her 3 grandkids and is currently having a hard time financially. She said that they are in need of 2 new tires for their vehicle. If they were to get the 2 fresh tires then the grandma would be able to effectively provide transportation for the children. For reference her tire size is 225.60.16. If you can assist with a resource connection or the tires to aid in the transportation of the minor children, this caregiver would be so incredibly grateful.
