Single parent household with two children. Mom is no longer employed to recent health concerns. Mom needs support with covering last month's rent and fees. Total is $1,500, but another family lives in the apartment as well. Hoping to get partial coverage.

A 14 year old African American female who was adopted at 3 years of age by entered into foster care in December of 2024 and has been in 8 placements in those 6 months. Some barriers for maintaining placement are her age, a high level of energy, and is attention seeking that can be behavioral. Her current caregivers say she's sweet, but requires a high level of supervision and attention. Their daughter is triggered with anxiety when she becomes behavioral; especially if she uses a disrespectful tone. With school out and the child will be home on a daily basis, her caregivers are requesting she move. Through a statewide search, we are unable to find another placement. In order to maintain placement, the caregivers are requiring that she be enrolled in a week of camp. A reason that summer camp is essential is that will allow the caregivers' daughter a break and to give them time as a family to recover from the high level of supervision required. In order to maintain this summer placement, this child needs to attend a summer camp. The agency has enrolled her in camp at Pine Ridge Bible Camp in Cedar Springs, MI for Session 2, which is . We have not secured funding for camp, 6/16/25-6/21/25, but it was necessary to maintain placement after today, June 9. The reason for a high level of urgency for funding, is that camp must be paid in advance to next Monday. If we can fund the camp for next week, this will maintain placement for at least the month of June, and potentially longer.

This family is in need of a new car seat for their youngest daughter. Unfortunately, their previous car seat was stolen and they are unable to get a new one. Their daughter is 4 years old and the needed car seat would be a new or gently used high back booster seat. Any help with obtaining this needed item would be greatly appreciated!

The family needs help with cleaning supplies along with a support person to help them clean their home. The father is autistic along with the oldest child which is 4 years old. Their youngest child is medically fragile and is on a feeding tube. The parents have their children removed from them due to the home conditions and medical neglect. For the family to be reunified the home needs to be in stable cleaning condition.

Single mother of 7 children is finally moving home after being homeless for roughly 6 months. Her biggest need in transitioning into housing is beds for her and the children. She is open to either 8 twin beds or 4 king beds.

My client and I have been searching for a Toddler bed for a couple of months now with no luck since she has moved into her new unit. Client is sleeping in the same bed with her youngest child and he is getting too big and mom is concerned for his safety. She was hoping at this point they would have found something. Client states that he has outgrown his crib and she would like to try a toddler bed to allow him to grow into it, but would like for the bed to have some type of safety railing.

We are heartbroken to share that one of our student's families has suffered a devastating loss. The student’s mother has passed away after a long, brave battle. Despite every effort and all the love and support surrounding her, she peacefully passed with her loved ones by her side.

Her oldest daughter has now taken guardianship of our student and is doing her best to navigate this incredibly difficult time. The family is in urgent need of support to help cover cremation expenses and other essential bills during this transition. They are still in need of significant support but any support will help.

My Client just moved into a new home a couple of weeks ago. She is so excited to finally have space for her, her partner, and her 6 kiddos! However this home has a lot of stairs. Her youngest son is one, and he has already had multiple instances of falling down the stairs. Mom is in desperate need of some baby gates to help keep him safe! She has limited income with social security which makes it difficult for the family to buy things outside of necessities. Mom is looking for three gently used safe baby gates. The space width is about 32 inches. She appreciates any help she can get! Thank you!

A Hispanic family of four in our community is facing financial hardship and needs support. The husband is the only one who can work because mom is home taking care of her 2 young children ( 14 months and 6 years), one with severe autism and needs a lot of attention. The family could use help with groceries, a double bed and clothes for the children. Mom is in need of basic personal items such as soap, shampoo, and feminine products as well.
