We have grandparents living on a fixed income with no transportation that have taken in their three grandchildren in the middle of the night. One of the children is disabled and the grandparents try their hardest to utilize all the resources available to them. The grandparents will have to take training classes to be home approved but are unable to go in person as grandmother is disabled and cannot walk. We are in need of a chromebook or cheap laptop that the family can use to take their classes and also be able to utilize even more resources through the internet. Two parents are in need of bus passes as they do not currently have a car. With the bus passes they will be able to make it to visits with their children, court hearings, their work and their required services. Providing these passes will help these parents keep making good progress towards reunification with their kids.

Hello everyone! I have a mom on my caseload who was recently reunified with her child. With the child being reunified mom has exalted all her expenses at this moment. Mom is currently employed and is not receiving any other financial assistance. The family is expected to have a successful reunion. The family is excited to start their next journey and is happy to be back together again. Please help this mom with this need in order to care for her and the child's basic needs. My client is a single mother to 3 teenagers ranging from 12-16 years old. She is needing assistance with laundry detergent and overall cleaning supplies. She is currently in between jobs due to her recent one laying everyone off after running out of federal funding. Anything will help and will surely be appreciated!

OKDHS is working a prevention case with a young mother of 4 children. This mother has no safe or appropriate family support and has been struggling with the cost of getting her kids to daycare so she can work. She must have the 3 younger kids in daycare but she has used all her money getting rides to the daycare. She has a ride to get them home but she has to Uber herself and the kids there in the morning. She does not get paid until Friday and she needs the kids to be in daycare until then to keep them safe and to provide them with adequate supervision while she works. We are asking for help providing this mom the means to get her kids to daycare for the rest of the week. Thank you for considering this extremely urgent need! This young single mom has no support and has been working hard to provide everything for her kids herself and needs some support.

Bio mom needs help with gas to go to weekly family times in the Tulsa area. It would help her out and remove the barriers for her.

Bio mom doesn't have transportation and uses the gift card when she doesn't have a ride from friends and family to get services, court and work. Bio mom family time is progressing and the gift card would help her remove the barrier of transportation so she can have more family time with her child.

I have two children currently in foster foster care. These kids share a closet and an unfortunate accident happened in the foster home where the children's clothes were infested with mold and ants. The foster parents tried to salvage what clothes they could but unfortunately most of the clothes needed to be thrown out. leaving the children with a small amount of clothing left. the foster parents are working to try to replace the clothes but any additional help that could be provided to these kids would be greatly appreciated.

Client is a single mother with a 3-month-old baby boy who is doing her best to provide for her child but is facing financial challenges and could greatly benefit from the donation or support of a gently used or new stroller. Having a stroller would make a significant difference in her daily life, allowing her to safely and more easily transport her child while attending appointments, running errands, looking for employment, and commuting. It would help ease her burden and give her more independence and mobility as she continues to build a stable life for herself and her baby.

Hello, this is a new emergency placement. There is a total of 5 children. Beds and car seats are an urgent need. This is a newer case to OKDHS and meeting this need will allow the foster family to accept placement of the children. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

A young person is aging out of DHS and going into Thunderbird Program in hopes to prepare him for a career in the military. Thunderbird has a packing list for their cadets that costs about $333. If this request speaks to you, you would be helping out a great young person trying to find his place in society. Thank you.

In our program we provide a snack each day that our children come to our Summer Kid's Club. These children are in our care during many hours that they would be left unattended and many only eating once per day. We provide lunch and snack. We also bridge the learning gap that happens to many during the summer. Keeping their little bellies full helps to open their minds to instruction and care. We prefer a fruit or veggie along with something like gold fish or peanut butter crackers. We really would be happy with any snacks provided.
