We have a foster family with placement of 4 siblings that are experiencing behavioral struggles. They are in need of alarms for the children's bedroom doors so they can hear them coming and going. There are many options, and many of the door alarms come in packs of 4. This will help to relieve provider burnout and keep all 4 children in their current placement, as well as provide the foster parents with a sense of safety.

If the family does not replace the damaged/missing panels, they are at risk of being written up or evicted. Only six white panels are needed, and they will not need assistance with installing! I am working with a family of four (daughter 9 years old, daughter 14 years old, mom, and dad). The two girls are currently placed in foster homes. Prior to coming into care, the family lived at motel. Mom and Dad continue to reside at the motel. The family recently got their car repossessed due to financial strains. Mom has not been able to work in two months due to the one daughter's significant behaviors prior to coming into care. The family has struggled financially with just one income. It has been extremely difficult Mom has applied to over 30 places in the last two days and has interviews scheduled. Mom and Dad will be evicted from their hotel room on Saturday and have no place to go besides the shelter. We are requesting funds to cover 3-4 weeks of rent at the hotel to give mom time to start working and get a paycheck. The agency has provided a bus pass to each parent that is unlimited to help get them back and forth to work and all services. Rent is $440 a week without tax. Thank you for considering!!

14 year old foster child is looking for help with a gym membership. The youth states that exercising is her coping tool for the trauma she's experienced. We would like to see 6 months, but are happy with what is offered to help this youth. This membership will help her to stay grounded and remain happy and healthy. Hello, I am in search of a floor booster seat for a father and his infant daughter to maintain placement. The father recently gained trial reunification with his daughter and is in need of some items to benefit the infants growth and development. This seat would help the infant sit up straight, without having to consistently lay down or be held. If further explanation or a picture is needed of the product I am requesting, I can provide this. This foster youth came from Africa as a refugee in August she is 17 and really wants to learn to ride a bike but has some under developed muscles so we would like her to have elbow and knee pads till she learns to ride in case she falls. This item would be given or shipped to agency office and the case manager will deliver to the youth. Her learning to ride a bike will lead her to the ability to be independent. A single mother, recently left by her husband and going through a divorce, is disabled (cancer treatment) but is working part-time and has 4 children attending Zeeland Public Schools. Her home has only 1 bathroom but, due to a leak and surrounding water damage, the risk of electrocution prevents the family from using the shower. Mom has been taking them to other places to bathe for the past 6 months. Recently, several agencies helped this family secure the $20,000 to pay for the mold remediation and home repair which is to begin 4/24/2025. Unfortunately, the family cannot live in the home while the mold issues and construction are being dealt with and so must find a place to live for approximately 1 month. Possible solutions could be a donor who has a rental property or cottage that is vacant at this time where the family can stay or perhaps one or multiple donors working together to cover an extended stay at a motel. The family is open to any viable options but does request that the location has a kitchen since they are a low-income family and cannot afford to eat all of their meals out. Groceries or gift cards for groceries and/or restaurants could also be helpful during this time. Thank you greatly for considering how you can help!
