Low income family of 6 needing help with groceries. Student fills out list of needed items and then I myself go purchase them from the store and drop off to the family home. Looking for Walmart or Meijer gift card.

Two children are placed in Allegan county; their parents reside in Ionia county and are driving 130 miles round trip for visits with their children each week. The parents have been having some financial difficulties and the agency would like to assist the family with $20 in gas cards each week (half of the cost) to ensure visits can continue on a regular basis. Speedway fuel cards in $10 or $20 increments are being requested for April and May. Total amount being requested for 8 weeks of visits is $160. Cards can be brought/mailed to the case worker at Bethany in Holland who will be handling the distribution of the cards to the parents.

A pair of sisters attending Plainwell Schools have recently been placed with their elderly grandparents for an unknown amount of time while their mother is incarcerated. The school has utilized local clothing banks as much as possible, but it is very difficult to find donated clothing for teen girls. They are in need of hygiene products and some clothes to get them started as they are transitioning into a new home. We are trying to make this change as seamless and comfortable as possible!
