Child is developmentally and intellectually delayed and is moving to an adult residential facility. Child needs groceries for her new home. Child is needing the basic food essentials. Child likes most anything such as fruit, ramen noodles, grilled cheese, sandwiches, etc. Any easy meal items would be helpful.

This family is comprised of a struggling single mother with two young children, an infant and a toddler. They reside with a grandmother. Mom does not work and financial resources are very limited. We are serving the family through Parents as Teachers. We are working to get the parent connected with area resources; however, in the interim the family is in need of formula for the infant. If anyone is able to help with a donation formula in the interim, it would be greatly appreciated.

Bio mom of three delightful children has been reunified with her children after being adopted by another family. The adoption didn't work out and the children have now been placed back with mom. Mom is doing everything she needs to do and is going through the adoption process. Mom has had some financial struggles after her car broke down. She was forced to finance another car and does not have the money to pay the property taxes to get tags for the car. Mom unexpectedly lost her job after her son became ill because she had to stay home with him and missed too many days from work. The youngest child just had surgery and was hospitalized for 7 days. Mom has a lot of medical appointment for him. Mom has started door dashing part time to earn money. Mom has gotten several tickets because her temporary tags have now expired. Mom is looking for assistance with getting tags for her car so she can drive her children to appointments, activities and to get to work. If you are able to help this family with getting tags for the car it would be greatly appreciated. The total needed was $1,700. Mom has some of the money saved but is still $900 short. Currently, she has only her grandparent's old clothes to wear, as her belongings remain in Texas and are being discarded by her father. This courageous young girl is on a journey of healing, yet she lacks the basic necessities to support her recovery.

Her grandmother, who is also caring for two other small children, is unable to afford new clothing. Despite her challenges, this girl expressed a heartfelt desire for "girlie girl" clothes while wearing a worn oversized tee. We kindly request support in obtaining XL-sized sport bras, skirts, tee-shirts, and pants, as well as size 11 sandals or tennis shoes. I would like to request a Queen-sized air mattress for a young girl who is a survivor of sexual assault, who needs a bed to sleep on while we wait for an actual mattress, that could take 6 weeks to receive. The child is returning home to her mother on Friday and has no bed to sleep on as the air mattress the mother used the last of her money to get, popped last night. The mother is working but barely making enough to provide for her two children. The mother has left their abuser and has made huge efforts in putting her life back together for the sake of her children. This is a single mother supporting herself and her children with limited assistance. The mother and Children’s Division would like to welcome the little girl home with a safe space to sleep.

This CarePortal request is to help preserve a foster care placement. Placement/foster mom recently took in a 16-year-old girl as emergency placement. Placement is needing a bunkbed set for the 16-year-old girl to accommodate her privacy and need for more space.

This family was recently impacted by a natural disaster and has been staying at different family member's homes. They are finally able to move to a new home, but one child is medically complex and needing a large suitcase to take all his belongings and medical equipment with him on the move, as the family will travel by public transportation.

Natural mother is working to improve her home for the safety of her four children. After years of drug use, the natural mother is clean and in rehab and is working to reintegrate with her children. Given the extensive amount of drug use that occurred in the home, the mother is redoing the house to make sure her children are safe. The mother has finished redoing her floors and has gotten rid of all of the furniture. This mom is requesting assistance with getting new living room furniture, specifically couches or a living room chair. Once the mother has finished cleaning the home and replacing the furniture, she will be able to have visitation in her home in hopes to return her children to her care.

Youth is having surgery soon, he has a cist on his backside and he will down for 6 to 8 weeks. He would like to take two summer classes to get a jump start on next year and these classes will prepare him for honors history next year and give him something to do during the summer when he is recovering from surgery. The classes cost $180 a piece and need to be paid by 3pm tomorrow for him to take the classes. They can be paid by phone but the relative placement needs assistance in paying for these classes. If funds are not received by 3pm tomorrow he cannot take the classes.

I’m reaching out with urgency and deep sincerity on behalf of a brave, single mother of two children (ages 7 months & 4 years) who has recently escaped the grip of an abusive relationship. She’s working hard to rebuild her life, providing a safe, stable home for her children while juggling the weight of emotional trauma and financial strain. Despite her strength and determination, this month she’s fallen short—just $250 away from being able to cover rent. This isn’t just about money; it’s about helping a mother hold onto the safety and peace she fought so hard to create. The mother has applied for SNAP benefits, will be applying for WIC benefits, started the Child Support process, and Childcare Subsidy benefits. The mother does have family in the area, but they are unable to assist with any financial help at this time. We have created a budget with Mom and identified areas where she can trim her budget in order to save extra money next month. The mother is in the process of connecting with other community resources to assist her during this transition time.

This family is moving into a larger space to accommodate reunification. They need a bunk bed for the boys, and have identified other bedding needs if the church is able to fulfill the other needs as well.
