At CCA, we provide uniform shirts for all our students so they can be ready to start the school year in dress code. This is of huge help especially for families who may not be able to afford them. We’re asking for the funds to cover the cost of school shirts with the CCA logo, so every student can start the year strong. Every student receives 3-5 shirts so that they can be in dress code on a daily basis.

Reaching out on behalf of a family of four—one parent and three children (two teenagers and one preteen)—who are currently experiencing homelessness. The family had been staying in a motel/hotel, but due to financial hardship, they no longer have shelter and have been living out of their vehicle.

Unfortunately, the family's situation has worsened, as their vehicle is no longer operable due to a dead battery.

The parent has actively contacted multiple surrounding shelters, but all are currently at full capacity and unable to accommodate them. The family is in urgent need of temporary hotel assistance or assistance with a new battery.

Family will be appreciative for any help.

This student recently graduated from our school. We are a second chance school who serves students who have struggled in the traditional public school setting. This student is an honors student who is also very responsible. This student is pregnant and is in need of equipment for her baby. She needs a stroller with a car seat as well as the pack and play with the basinet included. She is also in need of a baby bath tub, bottles, diapers, burpees, receiving blankets, and pacifiers.

I am currently working with a single mother of 5, the youngest being 10 month old twins, who has recently been placed on temporary medical leave to undergo surgery. This mom is not getting paid during this leave and is worried she will not be able to pay her rent for next month without any income coming in at this time. The mom has been able to DoorDash here and there, but the pay is so little and inconsistent, it hardly covers food, formula and hygiene products for the family. This mom just recently moved into a home and is receiving housing, however, HUD is not willing to reduce her rental costs for the time being until she can return to work at the end of next month. Local resources for assistance with this one-time rental payment have also already been exhausted. I would like to request help for this most humble mother in the amount of $750 so that she may be able to undergo her surgery without having to stress about being evicted/homeless due to these unforeseen circumstances. She and I both would be so grateful or any assistance with this. Thank you for your time.

A single mother of three young children—each under the age of 5—has just taken a big step forward by moving into her own apartment. Two of her children are eagerly preparing to reunify and return home soon to live with their mom and youngest sibling. As this family begins to rebuild, a safe and functional couch is urgently needed. The current couch, which was generously donated, is now broken and no longer safe for the children to use. A standard-size family couch would not only provide comfort—it would help create a welcoming, stable space for these young children to come home to.

A 2nd grade student and his family were unfortunately involved in a severe car wreck. Student's father and uncle passed away and mother who was pregnant, is in a coma and baby was born a premie and currently in the NICU. The student has 3 other siblings older/younger siblings as well. They are all currently being cared for by relatives. Any amount for gas gift cards would be helpful to family as they travel back and forth between schools and hospital visits.

The mother has just obtained her own housing after leaving a relationship that was abusive and being homeless. She has limited furnishings. She also just completed services and has her 2 oldest children back in her care part time as well as a 1 year old and is pregnant. She is trying to start over. Obviously this is everything she needs, but even if you can a portion it would be great help to her. She is also willing to accept used items.

The mother and father are struggling at this time, with providing proper care for their children. Although, they have tried to reach out to several agencies for help. Upon visiting with the family, they are in dire need of help with repairing their toilet. They have tried several ways to repair their toilet. They have tried to get the toilet unclogged but after so many months, the toilet reverts back to the same problems. The home is rented by the family but in the lease, the renters have sole responsibilities of repairing any damages to the home. At this time, the parents are unable to pay for new toilet. The family will also need an installment of the toilet.

Single mom of 5 trying to establish a safe home and meet the household needs in order to maintain custody of her children. Mom has left an abusive relationship and is struggling to meet her children's needs as she goes through divorce and custody hearings. They are all in need of twin sized light-medium weight blankets OR comforters so they can sleep comfortably and feel secure. Children are 3 years old up to 18 years old. Mom is in need of a blanket or comforter as well.
