Hall County has a mother of three children; 4, 7, and 12, in need of assistance with her power bill. The mother has been working hard to get the family in a stable place because of the family dynamics changing. She currently has an outstanding power bill and it is at risk of being shut off. Any support that can be given will help ensure that the family can remain with power in the home.

Single Aunt with her own biological children in the home. The Aunt has taken on her niece while the child's mother fights active addiction. The department is still working on getting the Aunt funding to assist in caring for the basic needs of the child. The child needs summer clothing, and the department is seeking a Walmart Gift Card in the amount of $100, to assist this Aunt in helping this child and maintaining her stable placement.

Hall County is working with a mom that is new to recovery and seeking employment. She is in need of a car seat and stroller to help with safety of her 3 kiddos.

A bio family with a single-parent household is currently experiencing financial difficulties due to job insecurities. The mother who was a former foster youth is in need of rental assistance to help offset the amount they are behind on due to recent loss of a work. Their current financial constraints make it challenging to meet their housing obligations. Providing rental assistance will help the family try to avoid eviction, ensuring housing stability during this challenging time while alleviating some of the financial strain as they work to regain employment security.

Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

We have a family that is close to being able to reunify. The father obtain more spacious housing for himself and his child. He is a hardworking dad, and his son, 6 years old, needs a bed. He's sleeping on a pull-out couch, and could benefit from a bed. The father has reached out to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, but was told that they don't have any available builders in his area. This child could benefit from a twin or full-sized bed frame, box springs, and mattress. Also bedding and sheets. He loves cammo, hunting and fishing.

A single mother who is in between jobs currently and has very little money to get groceries and put gas in her car for the next week to make it to job interviews. This mom is requesting assistance with getting a grocery gift card and a gas card.

We are having our annual back-to-school event - July 26th, 2025 This event services our foster children and our community families' children who maybe less fortunate. Our goal is to give out 1,000 book bags filled with the necessary school supplies to meet our foster children and community children well-being needs.

In reaching our goal this will help children prepare for school and release the burden of not having their school supplies to assist them in getting a great education.

We are in need of school supplies for elementary, middle and high schoolers. Pens, Pencils, calculators, crayons, coloring pencils, erasers, pencil holders, notebook paper, ABC Tracing Books, highlighters, composition tablets, 3 & 5 subject notebooks, scissors, glue. An assortment of all school supplies we need. Any assistance we are most grateful.

Currently a mother and her three children are homeless. The mother just lost her job recently and got evicted today. The mother does not have transportation, and the children have not had anything to eat. The family has tried reaching out to multiple food banks to assist but have been unsuccessful.

Parent is in need of a television. She currently has weekend overnight visits with her children and would like for them to have a television to watch their cartoons instead of her cellphone.

Parent has limited transportation this week and is starting a new job today. He resides in Lawrenceville and will be working in Winder. He would like a Lyft or Uber gift card to assist him from getting to and from work this week.

I am requesting assistance on behalf of a single mother navigating through financial challenges. Single mother has one child and is currently residing in a hotel. She is working diligently to find stable housing and we are requesting assistance with covering the cost of temporary accommodations for her. Any support you can provide would mean the world to this single mother and will help her regain her footing during this difficult time.
