We are in need of two wallets for two of our youth that are receiving ID cards and are looking for employment. Wallets would be beneficial for them to handle their money and ID cards.

Hall county is serving a family with a mother and 3 children (6,3,1) with the mother struggling with substance abuse and Housing instability. We were able to have the mother accepted into a rehab facility with her 3 children last week. In order to stay in the facility with the 3 children, she has to be able to provide for groceries for her and the children. The mother does not have income due to not being currently employed. We would like to ask assistance with 2 grocery gift cards (2x $ 100.00) to assist buying grocery for the family so the other can continue receive services at the rehab facility.

My client is a resilient single mother of two small children that is living in transitional housing due to escaping DV. Despite facing numerous challenges, she has always strived to provide a stable and loving environment for her family. Recently, my client had to resign from her job at the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) to care for her daughter, who has autism. Her daughter was dropped from several daycares due to destructive behavior that caused harm to herself and other children. This situation forced my client to seek alternative employment, taking on Amazon and other contract work to make ends meet. In the past two weeks, she has been struggling with severe diabetic neuropathy, which causes intense nerve pain and has significantly impacted her ability to work. Despite her best efforts, she has been unable to earn enough to cover her family's basic needs. She is currently seeking $600 in rental assistance to help her get through this difficult period. Your generous donation can make a significant difference in my client's life. By contributing to her rental assistance, you will help provide stability for her family and allow her to focus on her health and her daughter's care. A 13 year old entered foster care over the weekend. Due to the circumstances she only had time to pack a backpack with limited items and she is without a stable placement yet due to being new in care. We are seeking a care package to help her feel more comfortable as she adjusts to the disruption she’s experiencing. Items being requested include: white crocs, a package of high white socks, sweatpants/baggy pants (likes Nike - size medium or 8/10 in teens), fitted athletic shirts size XS/S, undergarments and hygiene products (more information can be provided), vanilla fragranced body mist, and hair supplies for natural African American hair. Her favorite colors are orange and pink.

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am a case manager working with a grandmother who is currently facing significant challenges in balancing work and childcare responsibilities. Grandmother/caregiver who is providing full-time care for her daughter's newborn baby. Grandmother has stepped into the role of primary caregiver to the child and the added cost of daycare will be a lot especially with her fixed income from her current job and we hope to prevent financial strains. While Grandmother waits on CAPS approval from the department, she has to enroll the child into daycare to maintain her employment. This child is at risk of entering foster care tomorrow 4/2/2025 due to not having childcare.

18 year old youth is still with the foster care system as both his parents are deceased, and he is currently in college, but he is unable to pay for his Spanish Quiz online which is $30.

Youth paid for his semester of college with loans, but he is unable to use loans to activate his course assessment for his spanish class which is on LumenLearning.com. This $30 fee will allow him to take all the necessary quizzes and assessments for this class for the rest of the semester. A visa gift card can be sent so that he can pay the activation fee online. This fee needs to be paid by 3/30/2025, so the gift card number can be given to the youth or case worker through email so that the fee can be paid on time, unless there is a better way you think this can be handled.

The above is the main request, but I also want to add that youth has been struggling to pay for groceries. His loans covered a meal plan at school, but the meal plan does not provide enough food for him to eat 7 days out of the week. He has no foster parents currently since he is living in a dorm, and he has no job as he was advised in court to focus on his school and grades before getting a job. This has put him in a situation where he has no money to pay for basic food items. So I am requesting donated groceries or a visa gift card for him in any amount that you may be able to give. Any amount will help him and will be much appreciated.

A single parent has been successful in working her case plan and the department is looking to transition her 1 year old home. She would benefit from a car seat to ensure she is able to appropriately transport him. This mother mentioned that he is approximately 30 pounds and would need a car seat to accommodate his weight.
