Two siblings require assistance—a 9-year-old girl in the third grade and her 12-year-old brother in the sixth grade. Both children currently do not have a bed of their own and need basic sleeping essentials. We are requesting support in providing:

Two (2) twin-size beds

Two (2) box springs

Two (2) bed frames

Bedding sets for each child (including sheets, blankets, and pillows) Meeting this need will have a meaningful impact on the well-being of both children. Having their beds will provide them with a sense of stability, comfort, and dignity. It will also support better sleep, which is critical for their physical health, emotional regulation, and academic success.

We are grateful for our community and the care and Coffee initiative. A student is currently without a bed and has been sleeping on the floor at home. The parent has expressed an urgent need for support, as they are unable to provide a proper sleeping space for their child at this time. This situation is impacting the child’s comfort, rest, and overall well-being. Providing a bed would greatly improve the student’s quality of life and help meet a basic need. The family is in genuine need, and any assistance would make a meaningful difference. We are seeking help to ensure the child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

Biological father has recently moved into his own apartment just recently. The apartment does not have central air and does not have the best air flow. The dad is wanting to get a couple air conditioning unit but does not have the money to purchase as he is getting other need household items. The dad is working hard to have his home approved to start having visits at his home with the child. The child is 10 months old and with the heat dad does not want his child in the home without air conditioning.

This request is being submitted on behalf of a Hope Florida participant that is a single mom of four children. This family is homeless at this time. The family is currently staying at a hotel. It has been 2 months since the participant was laid off from her job. She has been unable to find a job but continues on a daily basis seeking employment. She has been surviving and living on her savings. For a month now she has used all her savings and has no form of income at this time. This family is experiencing many financial difficulties, and they are barely getting by. These children are in great need of clothing as there clothing no longer fit and are worm out. The father does not provide financial or emotional support and he is not a part of the children's life. The family does receive food stamps but there is no income coming into the home. Please help this family with clothing. This will allow the children to have clothing for the upcoming school year and for daily activities. Your support would mean a lot and help this family with a measure of comfort and security they desperately need. 12 months boy/size 12 Mos., shoes 4/2 yr. old boy/Size 3T and shoes 10/4 yr. old boy 5T, socks, shoes 1 or 2/8 yr. old girl, Size 13/14 and shoes 2/3/ Mom 38D bras, underwear XXL, clothing XXL and shoe size 11. A youth moved in with her paternal aunt's home as the youth has a lot of mental health concerns that were not being taken serious in her father's home. Additionally, the home is considered a hoarder's home and the youth did not have a safe, appropriate place to sleep. Youth's aunt stepped up and offered to care for her as she knows how important it is for the youth to receive mental health support and live in a clean, safe environment. The aunt moved out of her bedroom to give to her niece so her niece has a her own room and safe space. The only thing the family requested is a tall dresser for the youth to be able to put her clothes and items in.

A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
