A child in foster care is in need of youth underwear with a cup slot, shin guards, and soccer cleats. He is needing to get into a sport to help with his emotion regulation and an emotional outlet. We have got him sign up for soccer- he is in need of some supplies in order to play. Soccer practice and the first game are on Sunday, April 1st. His current placement has 4 other siblings and is not able to afford these things for him. He wears size M in underwear. He wears size 6 in shoes.
Sports Academy in liberty has shin guards for $5-$13 size S.
Underwear with cup insert size M or youth 10-12.
Soccer cleats size 6 for as little as $14.99.
Doing this will allow this child to play the sport, build his confidence, team building, and allow him to have an emotional outlet.
This Park Hill student and his mother were involved in a situation that caused them need to leave their home to stay safe. They are currently staying in a hotel, and are hoping to find permanent housing soon. The hotel is working with the family to have a low rate, but money is getting tight. They are also in need of food, but the hotel they are staying in does not have a kitchen, so mom has to be strategic in what they get. In addition to that, the family runs a food truck, and is doing several events in the next couple weeks, and needs access to a kitchen once a week to bake to prep for that week's event. Mom is working in addition to doing all of these other things, and would be grateful for any help she can get.

DCCCA has been working with a family and is getting ready to pass services on to another provider who will work with reunifying children and parents. As a step in that process, the family needs to order birth certificates for two of the children in order to obtain housing. DCCCA would like to help the parents secure the certificates and begin working on obtaining stable housing before their case closes in the next few weeks. If you are able to assist in covering this cost to help these parents as they take steps to be able to have their children back to their home, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

This hardworking Mom has struggled through several setbacks, including a fire that destroyed her home, a divorce, and an illness of one of the children. She receives no support from the kids' Dad. She has remained dedicated to raising her children in the ways of the Lord, and has stepped in herself to meet CarePortal needs for local families. She commuted to work and depends on her only vehicle for transportation. Repairing this vehicle will ensure she is able to continue working to support her children.
