Mom and her 4 daughters had to leave their former state and come to Minnesota due to a domestic violence situation. Thus, they are starting completely fresh. Large quantities are due to the # of students.

Four girls: Age 7 (Size 8, S/M); Age 8 (Size 8, S/M); Age 10 (Size 10, M); Age 10 (Size 10, M)

Mom could also use help with purchasing other household items because they lost everything when they had to flee their unsafe situation. This could come in the form of a Walmart or Target gift card.

This mother (30 years old) is currently pregnant and scheduled to give birth to a baby girl in the upcoming week. She will be a first-time mother and has been navigating her community supports as well preparing for the birth of her child. She has been working towards adjusting to her new norms after fleeing a domestic violence relationship. Due to this mother being pregnant and having difficulties with finding community supports and resources that fit her needs she has been working less and is in need of the following items as she prepares for her child. Please note that this mother's home has smaller dimensions and that the bassinet and bookshelf being requested will need to small due to space limitations.

I am working with a single mother of two children. her daughter is aged 16 months, and her son is only 4 months old. Mom is in need of a bed for her 16-month-old daughter, A twin or full bed frame, with mattress, and beddings (sheets, pillow and blanket) is what she needs. Providing this need will make sure this little one has a place to sleep as she currently shares a bed with mom.

Client is in need of a new baby monitor for her young toddler. Client recently had other emergency purchases come up, and so does not have the funds for a new baby monitor as her old one broke. The baby monitor would ensure her daughter's safety and well-being.

There are 2 children (ages baby girl 6 months and boy age 11). They would like a dresser that is taller vs wider to save on space within the home, also one that is sturdy for safety reasons. The family includes a single mother and a 13-year-old girl. Mom is very hard-working and committed to her daughter's success and overall well-being. The youth is dedicated to her education and wants to ensure that she is prepared for high school in the fall. Mom has had to change her work schedule and is not able to bring her daughter to and from school some days of the week, and the school does not offer bussing to their location. The youth could benefit from a bike in order to get to and from school on the days in which her mother is working. The youth is 5'4'' tall and would need a bike for that height. She would prefer a black bike/helmet. Thanks for considering!!

This student's family was evicted from their home and are now living with family (a 3-bedroom with 11 people). Mom and dad are struggling with addiction and spend very little money on necessities for their children. Their aunt has stepped up and is working hard to help them but they are still in great need of clothing and groceries.

Student is a 7-year old girl who would need size 7-8 clothing, but larger shirts are okay too. She loves pink and has been wearing the same pink sweatshirt for weeks.

They also need assistance with groceries due to having so many people in the home with no income or a fixed income. Any convenient store would work, or you could connect with the family to deliver specific items. Cub, Walmart, Target, etc.

Also - I do not know the other kids in the family but I assume they have needs as well.

A family living in the neighborhood of the pastor of our church has been displaced for over 2 years due to major mold problems in the home and insufficient funds to renovate. Husband has been doing most of the work on his own after coming home from his FT job, while his wife and their two kids live with relatives. Funds toward building materials will help speed up the process for the family to be reunified as quickly as possible. Gift cards to Home Depot and Menards will help husband get the necessary materials to finish the project. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This family has been homeless for over a year and have been living in a shelter for the majority of the time. They finally have their own housing but due to being in the shelter, they do not have household items to truly make their house feel like a home. Additionally, mom and her children (boys ages 5 & 6, girl age 3) struggle with PTSD due to many of the things they have been through, and having comfortable and stable housing will give them more opportunities to take care of their mental health.

Her children's attendance at school has not been very good due to their housing difficulties, and now that they have housing we hope that it will improve. They are smart kids but missing out on so much instruction has caused them to fall behind. They love being at school and we hope so much that they will be able to come as much as possible.

Any amount of groceries would be a huge help. Any amount of cleaning supplies and dishes/pots/pans would be very helpful for the family of 4.
