The two oldest children have been involved with the department since early 2019. The children were initially placed together with another relative, but this placement broke down. The children have been with the caregiver since November 2024 and the family is willing to provide long term placement for this sibling group. The caregiver briefly received funding but is no longer receiving any financial assistance. They are expected to start receiving funding soon. This family has had to make a big adjustment including one where one of the caregivers took off a month of work when the children were placed with them to ensure that the needs of the children were met. This caregiver is still not fully working due to the transportation needs of the children. The caregiver has already utilized community resource to assist with getting the children clothing however they are still in need of more clothing.

The younger child wears a 7 top and bottom with a size 12 in children's shoes. The older child is a teenager and wears a XS top and 0 bottom. She wears a 6.5 women's shoe.

When the request is met, the child and teenager will continue to have their basic needs met.

This Cg house got flooded back in October from Hurricane Milton. This Cg has been handwashing laundry since October, her dryer was luckily on stilts and wasn't affected. This Cg is taking care of a two year old, she is older and hand-washing her clothes inside the bath tub is putting a huge strain on her back and knees. This Cg is asking for help with a washer.

The child came into dependency in 2016 and had recently been placed with the caregiver. The caregiver and child live with an elderly woman who the caregiver is also the caretaker of. The goal of the case is to close with parental guardianship as long as the placement continues to stay stable. The child is currently sleeping in her own bed that is on the floor and is requesting a bed frame.

When the request is met, the family will be able to continue providing stable housing for the child and the children will have appropriate bedding.

The caregiver has provided a caring, stable placement for the children. The caregiver has been working overtime to help meet the needs of the children until she is able to receive funding.

The caregiver had to buy all new bedroom furniture with her own money while also supporting her biological daughter. The caregiver could use any support during this time. The caregiver is requesting a twin bed comforter set and a toddler bed bedding set.

When the request is met, the family will be able to continue providing stable housing for the child and the children will have appropriate bedding.

The youth came into the dependency system in the beginning of 2023. The youth has had a history of concerning behavior prior to being placed with the current caregivers. Although there have been challenges, the youth is finally connected with services and is working on stability. The youth has vocalized that she would like to attend a baby-sitting camp in the community. The caregiver is working on funding for other camps that the youth will attend through the summer and needs assistance paying for this camp.

When the request is met, the youth will be able to participate in extracurricular activities and learn new skills.

I have a caregiver that is in need of 2 regular adult women bikes with no gears for her granddaughters. They are teens. They live in an area that they can ride to the park while CG is working but need bikes to do so. This caregiver works 2 jobs and is a caregiver for her mother and her 2 granddaughters. If someone could help this family it would be appreciated.

This request is for a family of 6. The mother is a single parent, divorced from the father due to domestic violence. She works full time and received limited child support. The mother cannot afford summer camps for four children but is hoping to have activities for them to do while she is working. The maternal grandmother is able to assist with supervising the children. The children love any activities outside, especially in the water. The family is requesting outdoor activity items for the children. -Items such as: splash pad, reusable water balloons, water slide/slip and slide, Bean Bag Toss Game, Bean Bag Tic Tac Toe, adjustable batting tee. Can provide specific examples of items if request is fulfilled.

This Cg has recently had her home flooded with 3 ft of water from the hurricane she is still trying to get back on her feet and restock her home. Cg is caring for a 2 year old at 70+ years old, she's trying her hardest trying to keep up with Cx and all her needs. Cg needs help with bedding( sheets- king sized bed) and towels (body towels/wash cloths).

This family is in need of assistance obtaining formula for their 6-month-old. Both parents work, they do not have reliable transportation, and are currently living in a motel. The baby is eating both formula and has started to eat some solids specifically for babies (jar baby food and rice cereal). Mom is having trouble obtaining WIC benefits due to not having all the required paperwork; she has applied for SNAP Food Stamps but their benefits are pending. They would greatly benefit from any assistance in the meantime. The family is able to receive deliveries to their current residence. Thank you!

I am submitting a CarePortal request on behalf of a family that is working with our program. The youth is in need of a computer for schooling purposes. She is currently not attending school due to excessive bullying, which has led to significant struggles with depression and anxiety. As a result, the youth is interested in completing her education online and working toward earning her GED. She’s being raised by her grandmother, who is doing her best to support her and create a path toward success. However, they do not currently have the resources to provide her granddaughter with a laptop, which is essential for accessing online schooling programs. I’m requesting a laptop through CarePortal to help support educational goals in a way that accommodates her mental health needs. Thank you for your support!

We have the most lovely foster parents that continue to amaze us by stepping up to help whenever they can! They currently have a full house! They recently took placement of 3 teenage girls, and they are awaiting another teen within the next few weeks! They are short on storage and making accommodations so everyone has space and they don’t have to then anyone away, they are looking for a long dresser and a chest of drawers to fit the spaces and make the kids comfortable!
