The three children were removed from their mother and placed with their father with very little notice. They are currently living in an extremely small one room trailer that fits only a bed which the older children share, and a pack and play which the child is now climbing out of. The father has worked diligently to get them a larger place and finally has saved enough, however once they move, he will not have any funds left over for beds, mattresses, or linens for the children.

When the request is met the children will have appropriate, safe sleeping arrangements.

The children were at imminent risk of coming into care. The mother is requesting assistance to pay for daycare. Her and the father were splitting bills 50/50 before an altercation and his arrest. She has been struggling with this transition and would benefit from financial assistance for the child’s daycare. The child would be visible to the community and the mother would be able to work efficiently without providing care of the child during the day.

This Cg is the great-grandmother of her grand daughters child. Cx is 2yrs old and she is full of energy! Cg is retired, and is trying hard to keep up with her great-granddaughter but with her age, she's finding it difficult. Cg WIC for Cx was decreased to almost nothing. Cg is also experiencing a few roaches coming up from her drains (she been experiencing roaches since the hurricane flooded her home) and would like some help with spraying around her property. Cg is asking for assistance with diapers/wipes and extermination.

Grandmother is requesting assistance with diapers, clothing, and formula for her grandchildren, who are now in her care following their mother’s incarceration. While the grandmother is currently employed, she is facing financial strain and is in urgent need of support to provide for the children’s basic needs. Assistance with food, clothing, and infant care items will help ensure the children’s health and well-being during this transitional time.

The mother of 2 children in need of a booster car seat for her child. Her child is 48 inches tall and no longer fits in a regular car seat but due to the mother wanting to maintain safety she is in need of assistance with a booster seat. A backless forward facing booster seat will allow her child to be safe in the car while comfortably fitting. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A single mother working hard to build stability for my six-year-old daughter. The mother recently started a new job, which is a huge step forward for this family, but she has not yet received her first paycheck. Until then with 1/4 of a tank of gas, mom is struggling to afford gas, which is putting both her ability to get to work and her daughter’s ability to attend school at risk. This also makes it hard to reach a local food bank for assistance. A gas card would help bridge this critical gap. It would allow mom to reliably get to work and ensure my daughter can stay in school, where she feels safe, supported, and connected. This support would make all the difference in helping mom stay on track until I can fully support us through my new job. Thank you so much for your consideration.

This high risk family is in need of assistance getting blow up mattresses. Mom is a single parent of three (ages 9, 6, and a newborn). Mom is currently staying at a friend's house due to needing air mattresses for her new apartment. The baby has appropriate sleeping arrangements. Mom could use air mattresses for herself, the 9 y/o and the 6 y/o to help push up her move into the new residence. Real bed/bedframes have been secured from another community resource and are pending, but she needs the air mattresses in the meantime so she can sleep at her new place. Thank you and God bless!

A single father is currently looking for youth programs for his son who is 16 years old. His son has been going through a rough patch and could benefit from getting out of the house and doing different activities. The father is also looking for a church.

This family is in need of rental assistance for $1100 for April. The caregiver has taken in 4 children who are her great-nieces, ages 12,10, 4, and 3. She additionally has two children of her own. The caregiver experienced a period of unemployment to care for the needs of her youngest great-nieces. This caregiver has recently obtained stable employment, but she is still struggling due to her need to catch up on past due bills from when she was unemployed.

Single mother of three children in need of rental assistance. The parent has a child with developmental and mental health needs. She is the sole provider to this child and their siblings while working and attending college full time. This family has no other support from family, friends, or the children's father. This caregiver is extremely stressed about her inability to afford the rent of the home she is currently living in, as her former roommate backed out of moving in and splitting the costs with her at the last minute after the caregiver had signed the lease for the home.

A young single mother of a 4-year-old child is seeking support to obtain a bus pass and a bed with appropriate accessories for her child. While the mother is employed and actively working to provide for her family, she is currently facing financial hardship. The cost of transportation to and from work, along with household expenses and basic necessities, has made it difficult for her to fully meet her child's needs. Providing this assistance would help ensure a stable and safe environment for the child and support the mother’s continued efforts toward self-sufficiency. Also, the bed will allow the child to have a good night's rest so he can learn and improve his much-needed rest.

The mother of 4 children in need of a gas card to assist with transportation. The family consist of a mother, and her 4 children. The family has been staying in a shelter while they look for permanent housing. The mother recently started school and has been traveling from the shelter to school and to the children’s school. Gas is a necessary item to allow for the family to get an education and for the mother to further her employment opportunities. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
