Father recently obtained 50/50 custody of his two children after surviving and healing from a gunshot wound after being the victim of a road rage incident. Father had to quit his good paying job when he was shot and now has a weight restriction of 5lbs, making it so he is unable to get many jobs he has applied for since being able to walk again. Father is completely starting over and has only obtained a minimum wage job at this time. Father currently has an air mattress for himself and the two children that they all share. Father and children are currently in a studio apartment until father is able to get back on his feet. Father requested assistance obtaining a queen size bed and a couch for the family. Father stated the kids can share a bed and he can sleep on the couch. Father stated he has always struggled with asking for help but stated he is very happy to accept help and the whole experience has left him very humbled. Father and children would be very grateful for any assistance provided to them.

Mother is close to reunification of her 3 children. Mother has come a long way from the beginning of the case and has been actively getting the help that she at first denied. Mother was able to find housing last month but does not have the money left to furnish the apartment. Mother completed a management program and will soon be a manager at her place of employment. Mother does not have anything and has worked hard to find housing and employment. Mother is seeking assistance to find furniture for her apartment on her own but the help would go a long way in helping this family reach reunification.

The mother is in need of cribs for her medically fragile child who is currently sharing a bed with her siblings, as well as the child she is currently pregnant with to ensure safe sleep is being followed. Mother is a single mother who is trying to raise 10 children on her own and could benefit from some assistance. Mother will need one that will be for her medically fragile daughter and the other will be for her son she is currently pregnant with.

The family is need of bedding for the children as they currently do not have any. The twin sized items are for her boys and the full sized items are for her girls.

A single mother to two teenage girls needs assistance getting a security camera for her home. While the mother is working, the girls will run away from any after care program they are sent to or will leave the home without any parent permission. The teenagers have left the home while the mother is there telling them not to. The mother has had to call the police to report the children missing/runaway on multiple occasions. The teenagers have physically attacked the mother. Due to the children's behaviors, the mother often times has to leave work and is missing out on wages to support the family. The mother would like assistance getting a security camera to monitor the girls while she is at work and ensure their safety. Any security camera with video function would be appropriate for this family.

A family of 5 was recently displaced from the home they were living in. The mother has two jobs and works hard to continue providing for her children. They have moved into their own apartment but are in need of some beds! Currently all the children are sleeping on the couch family style, but soon the kids want to be able to sleep in the rooms in a real bed. This family has gone through hard times and have turned a new leaf and are looking forward to a fresh start. The oldest daughter is 14, the middle daughters are 7 and 8, and the youngest a little 4 year old boy. These children are full of light and bright smiles. The younger kids love to run around and play games. Their laughter and giggles fill the home.

The family involved in this request is comprised of a grandmother and her 2 year old grandson who is placed with her currently. The grandmother is in need of assistance with her utility bills. Once the utility bills are paid, she will be able to continue providing care for her grandson without the worry of possibly losing him due to lack of proper utilities. This was requested to be sent by a specific member of the care portal community - Ms. Hoffman.

A grandmother is placement for her 1-month-old granddaughter. She is requesting baby items for her granddaughter, such as a baby monitor, a bassinet, and a mobile for the crib.

DCS is in need to help to support this father to be reunified with his four children. DCS got involved back in August of 2023 and we got involved due to substance abuse. Since DCS involvement, father has been clean and participating in all services. Father now has a job, a place of his own, and his own vehicle. DCS is trying to reunify all four children (F 9, F 9, F 3, and M 2) with their father. The children are all currently in foster care and have a strong relationship with their dad.

Maternal grandmother became placement of her 4 and 3 yr old granddaughters. The grandmother is needing assistance getting 2 car seats for the children to engage in safe driving and ensure child safety and prevent any injuries in the vehicle.

Mother and father are living in an apartment with four children and mother just gave birth. The parents need assistance with new beds for the children.

The child's guardian is struggling to make ends meet and would like help with getting the child that is involved with us some clothing since she has limited clothing at this point. The guardian would be able to use that money to be able to put back for her bills if she did not have to worry about clothing for the child. Her sizing depends on the brand of clothing. Typically a 0-2 for Pants or a Womens Small Tops are Women Small Shoes are size 4 in women She could use some pants, shorts, long and short sleeve shirts, hoodies, PJ's, underwear and shoes
