I am working with a mother and two children. The mother was recently in a domestic incident where her partner left the family home. The mother fell short on her rent for April. The office reported if half of the rent was paid by April 25, they would hold off on starting the eviction process. The mother has picked up a second job to help her with paying her bills moving forward. the total balance is 1602.57 and the remaining balance is 800.00 dollars. It could be paid by phone or money order

Birth mother of one baby (female) age 2 months old is at the Elam Center to complete a program. The birth mother is in need of formula for the baby. Assisting the family meet this need will help the baby's wellbeing and ensure that the mother has the support she needs while attending the program.

I work with an awesome family who is experiencing some financial hardship and recently had to move in with a friend because they are now experiencing homelessness. The mother was doing a great job getting her kids to school but now also has car trouble. I am working on getting the family set up with the school HERO program to help with transportation, but it typically takes two weeks. I'd love to give the mother an uber gift card so the children can still get to school while we wait on the HERO's transportation. I appreciate the CarePortal community SOO much!

DCS is working with a single mother who has exhausted all resources to pay her overdue rent inherited from a paramour who is no longer living in the residence. The bill was left on the mother and the family is in danger of being evicted. The resources will ensure the family is able to stay together and begin working toward financial stability. The mother is trying her best, she has five children (2 young adult children and 3 minor children) COTC has agreed to pay half of the cost to help the family.

The birth mother has a five-bedroom home with 8 children ranging between the ages of 12 years and 7 months old. The mother is in need of beds and bedframes for some of the children. One child currently has a box spring and mattress, but it is on the floor with no frame. The mother is not currently working due to all her children not being school age.

AGAPE is working with a Pregnant Mother who needs assistance with medical bills. She and her husband are having a home birth, and it is expensive, and insurance will not cover most of the costs. They are the sweetest family and would be so grateful for the support!

AGAPE is currently working with a pregnant mother, and she needs assistance getting her driver's license. This cost will go towards the mother's use of the driving center's car to take her driving test. Any assistance will greatly bless this young mother to be.

Child is currently living with grandparents after being placed with them after DCS received a referral for drug concerns. The child was placed in safety placement to prevent custody with his grandparents. The child does not have a bed in the home just mattress on the floor in the room he shares with his sister.

I Am Next is a nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We currently have a young mom who aged out of the system, and she has a one year old and is also pregnant with her second child coming in August. Our organization helps her with her housing, grocery assistance, and currently helping her learn how to drive. She is in need of a high chair and a potty training toilet seat for her one year old if anyone can help with these two items!

Hello! There's a family that is currently facing financial hardship and is in need of clothing. The family consists of one adult and one child age 9. Due to recent job loss and unforeseen expenses, they are unable to afford some basic necessities, including appropriate seasonal clothing. Any donations of gently used or new clothing in all sizes would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping them through this difficult time. Adult sizes: Men, shoe size 10, shirt size XL and pants 36/32. Child Sizes: Girl, Shoe size 5.5, shirt size M, and pants 10/12.

Caretaker is a Teen mother of two children ages 1 years old and 2 months old. The teen mom lives in a two-bedroom apartment with her mother who assist her in caring for the children. The mother is unemployed and currently on leave for school. The grandmother is the only person in the home that works but recently has been struggling to juggle work and helping her teen daughter with her two children.

The department is requesting clothing for the teen mom and her children along with a stroller because the family does not have a car and has to catch the bus to get to the children's appointments. The department is also requesting 2- 4-ounce bottles for the 2-month-old as well.
