The father is currently working full-time and going to school but is struggling with this expense due to recently taking on his daughter full-time. Assistance with this need so that this father can keep his child in home and focus on her needs and this case is greatly appreciated!

The father recently switched jobs and the mother recently lost her job after missing work for mental health reasons. She is currently interviewing for new jobs. They are struggling with this expense as a result. The mother has completed her treatment and the father is in expected to complete his treatment plan in the next couple of weeks, fully unsupervised with their baby, and nearing case closure. The family is just $300 short of their total rent payment. Assistance with this need so that the family can keep their child in home as they work towards case closure is greatly appreciated!

A The mother of a ten-month-old child is in need of support to pay for pieces of her car that need to be repaired. Some of the pieces have different prices: the rotor costs $173.98, the calipers $217.98, and the brake pads $56.99. The mother counts on the document that supports these prices. If the mother fixes her car, she will be able to transport her child to the different appointments and not depend on others. If it is possible to support this mother with one piece, she will appreciate it too.

The mother of a 3 year old girl is in need of a car seat. Right now she is in a forward facing 5 point car seat. The mother is utilizing a former friends car seat right now while she has her daughter on the weekend. She is trying to cut ties with that person as she lost her housing and is currently struggling due to them. Though she works full time she is having to reside in a hotel until she can find permanent housing, which has been difficult. She cannot afford a new car seat for her daughter right now as she has recently had extra expenses due to her situation. She is a single parent and receives no support from the father. She also has another older daughter with her full time that she supports. If possible a convertible car seat would be ideal so that she won't have to buy a new one in the future when her daughter outgrows it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DHS is working with a kiddo who is about to have her 2nd birthday on the 18th. This caseworker is asking for a 50 dollar gift card to help make this kiddos birthday even more special. A gift card to any place toys can be bought would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

A Teller County family is in need of assistance. This family became a kinship placement for their infant nephew, while having an infant daughter of their own (in addition to other children of their own). While the family is enjoying caring for the two small babies and creating stability for their nephew, they are facing unique challenges raising this large brood of 7! Currently, the babies are rapidly growing at the same rate. The family is in dire need of two cribs due to the babies quickly growing out of their current sleeping arrangements. The Department is kindly asking for help purchasing new cribs and accompanying crib mattresses for this joyful family. Thank you so much for considering this request.

A mother of a youth is in need of $1250 in order to be able to pay for her rent for the month of May. Her son recently returned home with her, and she had to use the money that she had for food. If this mother receives assistance with her rent, she will be able to provide placement for her youth.

Requesting multi-layered support for family, ongoing financial hardships and food insecurity. Single father of a 7th grade girl that gets minimal child support/assistance from her mother. He is currently employed as a ride share driver but has inconsistent work hours which directly impact the household income. Due to the varying work hours childcare/after school care is not easily accessible when school is not in session. The family was recently informed that they are no longer eligible for Medicaid or food stamps (the EBT program). The family often struggles, running low or out of essentials in between paychecks, with little extended family to assist when struggling. When speaking with the father, he is preparing for a possible move in August because of projected income struggles versus affordable rent.

A mother of a youth is in need of a $150 gift card to buy clothes for her son who recently returned home with her. Because the youth grew up while he was in foster care, most of his clothes are no longer his size. Any help for this family would be greatly appreciated!
