We have two young girls, aged 3 and 5, who have been in care since early childhood. Their caregiver, who became acquainted with them through church, observed that the girls were often unkempt, unsupervised, and had experienced significant trauma. In response, she began providing care for them.
Currently, the caregiver has not received any funding for this responsibility, as she is required to complete a homestudy and meet licensing requirements. Although she has been approved for future funding, the disbursement will not occur until June. Unfortunately, she recently did not pass the homestudy due to a few outstanding requirements necessary for her licensing.
She has successfully acquired many items from the checklist, but there is one final item for which she needs assistance. Would you be willing to help her with this last requirement so that she can pass the homestudy and achieve licensure?
