A family is in need of proper sitting arrangements for their children. The parents, who work in the fields whenever jobs are available, face significant challenges due to a lack of transportation and a very limited budget. The family’s home is sparsely furnished, and they are in need of household essentials.

A family of seven Mom, Dad, and five wonderful kids, ages 16, 17, 7, 6, and 4. The home is always full of energy, laughter, and love, but right now, they are missing something that would help bring them even closer together: a couch for their living room.

With such a big family, it’s been hard to find a place where they can all sit together comfortably. The family dreams of having a cozy space where they can gather for movie nights, play games, share stories, and simply relax side by side after busy days.

The family is so grateful for anything that could help make this possible. A gently used couch would mean the world to them — not just as a piece of furniture, but as a place to build memories, strengthen the family bond, and create moments of connection that will stay with them forever.

We are requesting support in the form of a Walmart gift card for a 16-year-old youth who is transitioning from a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) to a resource home. This youth has not resided in a family-based setting since 2023, and this move represents a significant and positive change in her life.

To help ensure her well-being and support a smooth transition, we are seeking a Walmart gift card that would allow her to purchase personal items of her choice. This will not only help her feel more comfortable and prepared in her new home environment, but also allow her to pick out clothing and essentials to get ready for the summer season.

Providing her with the opportunity to make her own selections will help empower her during this time of change and support her sense of independence and dignity.

The agency is currently working with a single mother and her child (5M). The mother is currently homeless, but doing her best to ensure shelter and safety for her child. The mother and her child are currently staying in a motel room and due to their circumstances are in need of shelf-stable/ non-perishable food that can be stored and prepared without refrigeration or full kitchen access, as their is no fridge or cooking range. Any assistance with ready-to-eat meals, shelf-stable snacks, canned good, or other motel-friendly food would be a huge help as they work through this difficult time. The agency is working with the mother to utilize community resources, but there is a wait list. Thank you for any support and resources that you are able to provide.

We are reaching out on behalf of a devoted family in need of support. This hardworking mother and father are doing everything they can to raise their three young children with love and stability, but they're living paycheck to paycheck and are facing a challenge they cannot overcome alone. Currently, their 3-year-old child—who has speech delays and needs a safe, consistent sleep environment—is co-sleeping with the parents. This situation is not only unsafe but is also causing stress and exhaustion for the entire family. They live in a small two-bedroom home, and while they are making the best use of their space, the lack of a proper bed for their toddler is affecting everyone’s well-being. The mother works full-time to provide for the family, while the father stays home to care for their youngest. They are not receiving any public financial assistance and are stretched to their limit. A toddler bed may seem like a small thing, but to this family, it represents safety, dignity, and hope. We humbly ask for your help to provide a toddler bed for this child. Your generosity could be the turning point for a family that is fighting every day to stay together, stay strong, and offer their children a better future.

The Agency is currently working with a single mother of two children, ages 3 and 5. The mother recently moved into a place of her own with the children. The mother currently has a sofa, that is in poor condition and poses a safety risk to the children. The mother is in need of a couch.

The care portal recently assisted the mother with a twin sized bed for the 3 year old child. The mother indicated that her 5 year old child is also in need of a twin sized bed and mattress.

The mother is on a limited income and has some family support, but they are unable to assist her with obtaining a sofa and a new bed for the 5 year old. If you are able to assist with meeting this clients needs please reach out to the Agency for additional information.

The current resource parent for a sibling set of two (2) children, female (12y) and male (8y) is requesting new dressers for the children. The children are currently in need bigger dressers to help them organize their room. As the children have been in care for almost a year a lot of their personal items have increased, and the resource parent is asking for bigger dresser to help the children keep their belongings organized.

At this time I have a bio mother who is requesting assistance from her local community in obtaining groceries if possible. The mother is has had all six of children and due to her attempting to complete her online degree she is currently strapped for money. The mother reports this would help her tremendously as she is in need of food and this would relieve some stress of her shoulders. The mother stated there is not a preferred brand of diapers or wipes. The mother also reported that the ac unit went out in the apartment she is renting a room in. I am writing on behalf of a devoted legal guardian (LG) who recently assumed full-time care of her 10-year-old grandson under deeply challenging circumstances. The child was removed from his parents at the age of two due to severe substance misuse. He was then placed in the care of his grandfather who tragically passed away about a year ago, leaving the child without a caregiver. In November 2024, the child’s grandmother stepped forward and was officially granted custody. To provide the consistent, loving care her grandson needs, she made the difficult decision to retire early and now lives on a fixed income through Supplemental Security Income (SSI). This transition, while necessary, has placed a significant financial strain on her household. One of the few joyful and stabilizing activities the grandson participates in is soccer, which he loves. Watching him play has become a shared source of comfort and connection for the LG and her grandson during this period of healing and adjustment. However, due to limited financial resources, the cost of driving him to and from games and practices has become difficult to manage. A monetary gas donation would greatly ease this burden. It would not only help cover transportation costs but also ensure that this child can continue engaging in a healthy and uplifting activity that brings him joy and stability. Your support would offer a small but meaningful piece of normalcy to a family working hard to rebuild and heal.

Recently a relative took in her two nephews who were homeless. The aunt just purchased a futon bed to accommodate them but then her stove went out. This relative has been using a grill outside or a portable single burner stove inside the home to cook meals for the new children in her home in addition to her biological children and does not have extra money to replace her stove.

Child Welfare Services is working with a single mother in our community who is facing some significant challenges. She is a hardworking single mother raising two children, one of whom has autism. The family's circumstances have been further complicated by the recent malfunction of their washing machine. This has placed an unexpected financial burden on them, requiring them to rely on the generosity of family or the expense of a laundromat.

Given the rising cost of living in their small rural town and the family's limited income, replacing the broken washer is currently beyond their means. Their dryer is also nearing the end of its lifespan. A gently used or new washer and dryer would significantly alleviate their current difficulties.

In addition to the appliance needs, the family could benefit greatly from a few extra twin-size mattress protectors. One of the children occasionally experiences accidents and having additional protectors would significantly reduce the mother’s daily workload and stress of laundry duties.
