I am reaching out on behalf of a mother in our community who is currently facing financial hardship due to a current illness. She has three children and is struggling to meet basic daily needs. One immediate way we believe we could offer support is by providing a gas card. This would help her access essential resources such as food, medical appointments, and other necessities for her family. Any assistance you are able to provide would be deeply appreciated.

A family is working a prevention case with OKDHS. Two young kids are currently placed out of home while the parents work hard to correct conditions to make it safe for the children to return home. The mother of these children is making quick progress. She has just gotten a good job that will help her family greatly. She has a vehicle but it is not running. She needs to get it running to be able to have transportation back and forth to work. The car needs a battery and an alternator to be operational. We are asking for help with providing this family with a battery and an alternator to help provide transportation for her employment and to allow her to visit her kids more often since she will not have to share a vehicle. Thank you for carefully considering this request and for all the help you all generously provide the families of our community.

Grandmother is the foster parent of her granddaughter which is currently is DHS custody. Grandmother has been trying very hard to make ends meet being that she is living off SSI. Grandmother is asking for help to transport her granddaughter back and forth to school. Grandmother is also very low on groceries and is seeking anything that can help her prepare full course meals for her granddaughter. Grandmother has not received any help financially and has reached out for help. Please contact me if you are willing to help a grandmother in need.

Hello! We are looking for a little help for a father that has successfully reunified with his children. This dad has really gone above and beyond to ensure his children were returned, and issues were corrected. There were some issues at reunification that actually resulted in the kids being returned about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Dad needs a little help meeting the financial needs a little early. We are asking for a lawn mower any in working order will help! His yard is not large so a push mower is much appreciated. Shortly after the children were returned his clothes dryer bit the dust. We are asking for an electric clothes dryer in working condition if possible. Any help is appreciated!

Please help a recently single mother who has fled from an unsafe situation. The mother has four littles all under the age of 6. The mother has taken the steps to keep her children safe by filing for divorce and relocating. The mother was displaced, and she is now attempting to rebuild her life. The mother has found a safe place for her and her children, but she is unable to come up with utility deposit. The mother does not have much support, and we would like to help her come up with the money that is required for her new home. Thank you.

A 14-year-old currently living at Tulsa Boys' Home (TBH) has been having a hard time sleeping in his room. TBH is in the process of getting a weighted blanket and brighter night light for this child. This child articulated that he used to have a gigantic stuffed animal and cuddling it helped him fall asleep. This request is for a very large to gigantic stuffed animal that is big enough for a 6-foot-plus child to cuddle at night. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration!

Parents of five are need of transportation assistance to get to family time at the DHS office, which is difficult from their location on the bus. An Uber or Lyft card would support them to see their children.

OKDHS is working a prevention case with a family of 4 children. The oldest child went to live with his father, but his father has had a difficult time staying in touch with his son and needs to be able to get ahold of his son's school. This father recently lost his job due to car trouble and this left him unable to pay for his phone service. Not having phone service has made it difficult for his son's school to contact him about important issues. This father needs help with restoring his phone service. He also needs a $30 part for his car to get it up and running again to allow him to be able to work again. Thank you for your generous help and the support you provide the families in our community!

A single mother, who is trial reunification with her daughter, needs help paying her rent due to having to take time off to adjust with her daughter in her home. This money will be used to support the family and preserve the placement.

This is a single mother who has 4 children with special needs. Two of these children have major medical concerns and have to see specialists because of this. Mom works cleaning houses so that she can work her schedule around the children's doctor's appointments/therapy sessions. She is currently struggling to pay the water bill. If you are able and willing to help this family it would very much appreciated. This mother has a lot of stress in her life and not a lot of support.
