I have a kinship family who is in need of Graco extend2fit convertible car seat. This kiddo is in need of a car seat that has extra support and can grow with him, with that support. I am asking for either a gift card for Target so the family can go and pick up the car seat or the car seat being purchased. This kinship home lives about an hour from Tulsa. This kiddo is growing out of his infant car seat and need the extra support this car seat will provide for him as he grows and now. Thank you.
I have a family in need of a twin mattress. We were able to get a bunk bed and one mattress but are in need of another twin mattress with a waterproof cover so these kiddos can have their own bed. This is a kinship home that is not a paid placement yet. The children are 9 and 7 and have been sharing a bed. Please help this foster home with a twin mattress so the kids can have their own bed and not share a bed anymore. Thank you.
Foster mom of three children with a total household of 5 children is needing help to pay for Lice Treatment at Lice Clinics of America (LCA). This sweet foster mom took placement of three children late on Tue. She was not made aware that the children had an infestation of lice. The children were brought to her home carried in asleep and placed in bed. When she bathed them the following morning, she discovered the lice. She along with the help of other family members have been combing lice for two days. The children's heads are so infested that it is recommended that they receive the treatment from LCA to ensure that the infestation is eradicated. There are a total of 5 children in this home that either have an infestation or has been exposed. Each child has to be treated. The cost for the treatment is $155 per child. The foster mom is able to take care of three of the children, but we are asking for help with paying for two. The total cost is $310.
A 17 year old girl on my caseload is now placed in a non-relative kinship home that kindly took her in. She is still in the process of gathering things that the youth needs in her home. My client was using a sleeper sofa to sleep on, however, the sleeper sofa is not as functional as they were hoping it was going to be. My client is way too tall for the sleeper sofa which makes it very difficult for her to try and sleep on it. She could really benefit from having a full size mattress and box spring or supported bed frame. She already has full sized bedding that she can use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Natural Father currently needs a bus pass to assist him with transportation to obtain services as well as to regularly attend visits with his child. This case has recently opened and the child is new to custody. The father is trying to figure out how to get to services and how to see his child. He truly loves his daughter and cannot wait to see her. He will have many services to get to as well as weekly visits with his daughter and needs a bus pass in order to be both successful and consistent.
I have a 8th grade student that is not eligible for insurance or soonercare who is needing to see a doctor and the fee 100.00 and parents are unable to afford this cost as dad has recently lost his job and is searching for work. An aunt and uncle have recently taken kinship placement of three of their nieces, ages 11, 8, and 6. This family needs assistance with their current utilities. Their East Central Electric Cooperative electric bill is due on 9/22/2022 and totals $224.00 Their City of Muskogee water/sewer bill is due on 9/28/2022 and totals $81.83. I have account numbers to provide, once assistance for these needs is offered. Fulfilling these needs would help preserve this kinship placement as they adjust their home and finances to the sudden addition of these three children. Thank you for any and all assistance!
I am currently working with a father that has been working very hard to regain custody of his infant daughter along with her mother. He does have older children, however those children are not in his custody either, and he has expressed that he hope to do things differently with his new baby than he did with his older child. This father has been engaging in other classes and services that have been required of him to complete as well as continue to work. while this father has been working very hard right now he does need some support financially to help him pay for his domestic violence assessment and some of the classes. He does not deny that he needs to get help learning how to deal with his frustration and he is looking forward to getting additional help with that through safenet services. taking this assessment as well as the classes will ensure that his daughter and her mother will be in a safe and stable home environment. The assessment for Safenet services is $125.00. We appreciate any assistance that you can offer in helping this father pay for his assessment.
These parents had to move out of their home due to the conditions of the home and are now living in a hotel temporarily until a new residence can be found. The family is asking that a week be covered. They currently have applications in at a number of different apartment complexes. They are just waiting to hear back.
I have a Family in need of assistance with moving. I have a mom, a 2 year old, a 5 year old, and a oxygen-dependent elderly woman. The family is working on moving into an apartment that better fits the needs of the size of their family as well as expanding the size of the apartment to better help the oxygen-dependent woman get around. The family was informed they have two days to come up with the rental deposit or they will lose the apartment. The current conditions of all the stuff in boxes is creating a hazard for the children and the elderly individual. This request would help correct the conditions of current home and prevent the need for these children to come in to foster care at this time. This is a single mother with limited support.
The family is currently involved in a Family Centered Services case to prevent potential intervention through the court system. The family is needing assistance with their utility bill to ease some of the financial strain they are experiencing as there are three children and the family has to get children to appointments throughout the week. The family's utility bill is currently $202 past due and any help would be greatly appreciated to alleviate one stressor in their lives.

Dad would like to get his Drivers License but would feel more confident having the drivers education class and test but cannot afford the class. We are asking for help to provide this class to strengthen his family by having the ability to drive. Dad has worked so hard to get to where he is and has went beyond what was asked. He is only 19 years old and has overcome so many hardships and would benefit greatly from this need being met!
Two foster children are entering new placement and are in need of a bunk bed, 2 mattresses, and bedding. The two teenage girls have moved around from home to home, and unfortunately do not have any sheets, blankets, pillows, or other bedding for themselves. The girls will be sharing a room with each other and would benefit from having a bunk bed (and mattresses) in order to save space.
A new foster parent, older in age, took placement of two teens who are infested with head lice. She is overwhelmed with all the washing and cleaning of the home. One child who has very thick hair has to have it professionally treated at the lice clinic, as well as have a haircut. This is a major expense, along with all the continuing of washing. They will receive a discount for having Soonercare.
There is a biological father in need of a bike. He will be using it to get to and from appointments, as well as to and from work. If you have a bike collecting cobwebs in the corner of your garage or shed, he would be most appreciative and happy to get it out of your way. It would be greatly appreciated if the bike could be in riding condition, as he does not have the financial means to get parts for it at this time. He doesn't care about the appearance. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read through all the requests to support families in need.
We have a teen girl in care who really needs some help with clothing, shoes, and a dresser. She has struggled with placement stability in the past and has done really well since being with this family so we want to help her make it feel more like home. Girls can be picky so a Ross or Wal-Mart gift card would be best for her clothes and shoes, but anything is appreciated! She has a smaller room so a small to medium dresser is ideal for her, but again anything will be appreciated.
