We have a 20-year-old who is aging out of care in a month. She is moving into her apartment with her 1-year-old daughter. She is working and has been trying to save money. She is $500 short for the deposit on her apartment; she has managed to save half. The $500 would ensure our older youth does not age out unhoused. She is utilizing a housing voucher to ensure she will be able to pay her rent; her voucher does not pay for any part of the deposit. Our youth is excited to have her own place for her and her daughter to finally have stability in her life. Thank you!

This family is needing assistance with half of their rent. Their 21 year-old son was recently killed in an accident and their 19-year-old daughter who is pregnant is being induced due to the stress of losing her brother. Her younger son is currently permanently disabled. Mother has been unable to work as she has been making arrangements for her son's burial and her the birth of her daughter's child. Mother was unable to cover the entire month's rent because she paid for the burial of her son. There are three other younger children in the home. One of the children in the home has a high level of medical needs with some medical equipment that requires electricity to function (suctioning and feeding pump). I have a relative foster parent in need of a stroller for a baby she has in her care. The baby is getting ready to turn 1 and is more mobile. The foster parent would like a stroller to put him in when she runs errands and goes places with the baby, instead of carrying him. Any help is appreciated.

A child has had lice for about two months now. She has missed 12 days of school and is now missing end of year testing. Her guardian has not been able to contain the lice with over-the-counter products, and she is in need of professional treatment. I have located a salon in the area that is able to provide services at a discounted rate so that she does not miss any more school. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have a mother that has had to miss work for the past two weeks due to a sick child at home. As a result she has fallen behind financially with paying her rent.

I am working with a young lady who is aging out of foster care soon. This young person receives supplemental security income and that goes to simply pay her rent and utilities at her residence. She is struggling right now with needing resources to purchase hygiene items, food, and even just have money for a simple hair cut. She has furniture and kitchen items but she strongly desires to be independent and fit in with others her age. She would like to be able to go out in the community to do things with peers her age but cannot due to lack of funds to pay for simple activities such as movies, bowling or even just dinner.

Family with 7 children had to move out of their home within 48 hours as the building was condemned. They spent multiple months looking for housing and have finally found a place to live. They are in need of living room furniture.

This baby came into care about 2 months ago, the mother abuses illicit substances, including while pregnant, such that it impairs her ability to parent. On or about January 21, 2025 at the time of the Childs birth - the child tested positive for cocaine, methadone and benzodiazepines through urinalysis. The child subsequently needed to be placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a respiratory machine due to experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms. This child had nothing and will need clothing and other things. We are requesting a $ 150.00 in gifts cards so the placement can go get what the baby needs to be in there home.
