A single dad lost his car in the Eaton Fire. He has been renting cars and getting ubers to get his kids to their school and sports activities. Having transportation for his family will help greatly in being able to gain some normalcy back in his family. We are looking to help this family as they are trying to remain doing the things that bring them joy as a family in such a rough time.

This is a request for a youth to get a new or used laptop computer or tablet. The youth has a need for this computer to help facilitate their journey into adulthood. They are trying to obtain employment and continue their final year in high school. This item will allow them the ability to fully engage with the necessary requirements of various online applications and virtual job search. They are going to use this tool to do schoolwork as well to maintain proper standing in their academic endeavors. By giving this individual a way to approach these barriers in their life you will be providing an important need in their current and future success.

Our client's case just closed and we represent her as the parent. She has 2 children, ages 3 and 9 months. She just recently moved into her own apartment with her children with hardly anything. She has no money and is no longer receiving funding, as her case closed. She is in need of food for her and her children, as she stated that they have nothing to eat. She also needs clothing for her daughters who wears a size 3T/4T (3 year old) and the baby wears a size 9 to 12 months. She was also requesting a toddler bed for the 3 year old. It is my hope that we can help this family.

On 6/9/25, child (age 8) started her conditioning for her bone morrow transplant with radiation for 4 days straight and then the transplant was conducted on 6/14/25. Also, sibling, child, (age 4) bone morrow will be extracted for the transplant. Last month, Mother car was repossessed, and mother used the RENT money to get the car back and now the families rent is overdue, and the family received a three-day pay or quit notice. Mother is not working in order to be with child daily at the hospital. Gas is costly, while mother goes back and forth from the hospital to home during day and at night to be with her other 3 children. Mother is the only adult in the home and the only provider.

Mom is a single parent with 5 children (ages 11 yrs, 6 yrs, 3 yrs, 2 yrs, and 16 m). Mom is working with various interventions to address family violence and mental health needs for the family. Mom is needing assistance in obtaining a used or new gas stove so she can make homemade food for her family. The support provided will ensure the family is eating a healthier diet while increasing quality time together. -Note: There is a family member who can help hook up the gas stove.

I've been walking alongside an incredible single mom of 5 kids for about a year and half. She successfully completed a program at Leah's Hope (who helps women with children at risk of homelessness.) She has made many sacrifices and exhausted all of her resources to provide for her kids. She's maintaining employment and making progress in her life, but recently, her sister was incarcerated, so she took in her two nephews so they wouldn't have to go into the foster care system. The cost of supporting two additional children has caused a strain on her finances and she has fallen behind on her car payment. Her car is at risk of being repossessed if she does not make a payment of $413. If her car gets repossessed, she would not have transportation to and from work, so she would also be at risk of losing her job. Any help for this amazing mom would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! Church, we have an opportunity to come alongside a single mom who is a member at Wildwood & help support her as she cares for the older bio siblings (brothers ages 9 & 12) of her adopted son. The brothers are still in foster care and need care for a period of 10 days in July. To say yes, the single mom needs childcare for the boys while she is at work. There are openings at a local day camp for both boys. The cost for 7 days of camp for both boys is $700. Please keep this family in your prayers - pray specifically for the time the three brothers will have together. One of our very own families, who faithfully serves every weekend, is currently facing a difficult season. They are in need of support with rent and groceries this month to get back on track and not fall behind.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to serve two families in our community. While our assistance was very much appreciated, it does not alleviate the on-going need for these families. Both families have young children who are home during the summer months. To ensure that they have access to hot meals during the summer while they are out of school, Heartland is initiating a request to provide food gift cards to each family throughout the duration of the summer.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.
