Kinship prover is doing placement for 2 children. This placement came unexpectedly but provider adores these children and agreed to take them in with her and her 2 biological children. Adding 2 more children to the home has brought on a financial burden and provider is finishing up becoming a certified kinship placement. Within that certification some requirements consists of a 5 lb fire extinguisher and an escape ladder. The youngest placement also does not have a bed of his own. Provider is a single mother who works very hard to provide for her family and she needs help to be able to continue for caring for these children.

I am currently working with families at the Eloise Mae Library assisting families affected by the early morning fire that took place at Club Valencia. About 100 units have been affected. Cherry Creek Schools has reported 27 students have been affected. This is the second fire at this location since November. We are still exploring all of the needs these families will have. The families were not allowed back into their apartments to retrieve their items. We could really use Walmart and Target gift cards so families can get their kiddos a few items. We could use some donated toys and pack-n-plays. Any help would be amazing.

This grandma is taking in her 2 grandsons, one is currently in the NiCU. Her daughter is struggling with substances abuse and did not tell anyone she was pregnant so this baby was a complete surprise and shock to everyone. She is on a fixed income and has absolutely nothing for this baby. We are in desperate need for New Born clothes and supplies for this baby boy and a bed frame for the oldest grandson. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

The grandmother of child is the guardian of 5 children ages 11, 15, 16, 12, and 10. 1 Male and 4 Females. The family needs a dryer ASAP as it is impacting the family having dry clothes for school. Recently their basement flooded and destroyed a lot of things as well as the weather does not allow for clothes to be hung outside to dry. Family is not in a place where they are able to go to laundromat weekly to transport wet clothes to be dried. Thank you!

Bio father was recently reunited with his two children after learning about the child abuse/neglect case. The court granted this father custody of the children and he is in need of car seats for his two children. The children traveled home with their father to this past weekend, 1/29/23. The father wants to ensure that he has the resources needed in order to provide for his children's safety. The children were very happy to be reunited with their father. Link as an example for what the family is needing.

This is a family of five. This family has a history of being homeless during the pandemic and last year were able to secure housing through a private landlord. They are so excited and relived to be housed and don't want anything to endanger their housing. Unfortunately, the oldest boy is really struggling with his mental health and the family has had to contact the police department (with the crisis team) on several occasions. The family has taken all the sharps and medications and have them hidden for now but really need a lock box to ensure these items are secure for their son's safety as well as for their own safety.
We currently have an crisis clinician meeting with the family working to mitigate the crisis and assist them in getting long term supports and services set up for the children.

Single mom who had her children removed from her custody in August of 2022. Kids are fifteen and two. Mom has a lot on her plate between work, treatment, and visits with her kids. She is fighting to maintain her current living arrangement on top of all that is asked of her through the Department. She struggles to make it to all of her required drug screens which has impacted the ability for her kids to return to her care. As an alternative solution, a sobriety monitoring device is being explored for her. The device is costly and unfortunately not covered by the Department. A month's worth of monitoring is going to cost about $300. To help further see this mother succeed and reunify with her children, this request is being placed to help provide financial assistance to pay for the sobriety monitoring device. What is being asked if $300 in gift cards to provide to mom so she can supplement the money she'll have to spend on the device. We are hopeful that this plan will help her make progress and we can return these kiddos back home!

Mom gave birth to baby boy on 1/25/2023, she did not receive prenatal care so the doctor estimates he was born about 35-36 gestational. Baby was born weighing 5 lbs 7.8 ounces. Unfortunately his mom struggles with addiction so baby tested positive and he is now experiencing withdrawal. Baby boy is a very strong baby and he hopes to go home very soon to his grandmother where she also has been taking care of his older brother. All of this was unexpected so baby boy's grandmother was not prepared and she is also on a fixed income. She is needing help with a bassinet(pack in play with bassinet insert), infant car seat and stroller, and baby tub. I thought that a stroller would help her get around with baby and his older brother and make it easier for her.

This family has a child with autism. They're having a tough time managing so the child is suffering from poor hygiene and gone to school in dirty clothing that doesn't fit. The family could use assistance with getting these items.

Our client is a single mom of a precious 18mon old boy. She recently escaped a domestic violence situation. This has left them homeless and having to stay with family. Baby boy needs to have a safe place to sleep. Mom also uses rideshare for transportation and usually has baby sit on her lap. This is not safe so a proper car seat is needed. Mom is looking for work and hope to be on her feet to support herself and baby soon.

A family needs support getting some new bedroom furniture. Parents to seven children ranging from 10 years old down to two months old are struggling to stay on top of everything. Their greatest need is for two queen beds for their four oldest children. These four are currently sharing a king bed that they will soon have to get rid of due to health concerns. The mom is working at a school part-time as a school aid to contribute financially to the family while also raising her six children and newborn. Having support getting these items would help the children have a safe and clean space to rest. We ask for 3 or 4 different people to split this up and help us tackle this request. We greatly appreciate your support! Thank you!

First time parents welcomed their baby boy into the world in November. He was hospitalized for 14 days due to RSV. The mother and father stayed with him during that time, which resulted in the father losing his job. He has been job searching, but has not found anything so far. This couple struggled with the complexity of their decision during the early stages of the pregnancy, and they are now so joyful to have their son with them. They could use support getting a new car seat and stroller. The car seat they currently have was used previously and does not work properly. Having support getting these new items would help them transport their baby safely and take care of him well as they continue to get back on their feet. There is an attached link for a car seat/stroller combo that functions for the parents to attach the car seat to the stroller for easy transportation. Thank you for your partnership in supporting this family!
A Denver family of 6 is in great need of a car mechanic to continue to care for the kids in their care. Both kinship parents work, but they are unable to cover the costs of having their car repaired, and the Catalytic Converter replaced. They are now relying on friends and family to transport them around to work and school and would be so grateful for any help so they can be self-sufficient.
I am working with a single mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have her breast removed. This mother is preparing for reconstruction. Doctors are suggesting that she get prosthetic nipples from Pink Perfect in preparation for reconstruction surgery. This mother has not been able to work and financially can't afford to make this purchase.
