A relative is caring for her niece and nephew. She is very interested in adopting the children and getting them out of foster care. However, to meet the adoption requirements, the niece needs her own bed. She is in need of a twin bedframe, mattress, sheets, as well as a mattress protector. Obtaining this would be a financial hardship for the family, but they are committed to getting the children out of foster care and keeping them with family.

The MGM is employed; however, her income is limited as she's the sole provider for her two children. The MGM has a 6-month-old granddaughter who she reports she needs a walker for. The caregiver states that her granddaughter is constantly trying to lift herself up when she's held. the caregiver reports that if her granddaughter had a walker, she could strengthen her legs while learning to take steps.
