The agency is in process of reunifying a family. The family is in need of 3 twin beds for their children ages 8, 13, and 3 (two boys and one girl). They will also need appropriate bedding.

One of the barriers our families often face is not being able to afford to put their students into school sports due to the cost associated. This student has expressed to mom that he wants to play football and attend football camp this summer and Mom really wants to support him in this decision but cannot financially. This student has made great strides academically this year and wants to try something new. We are looking for someone willing to help cover the cost of camp ($30) and provide a pair of cleats so he can attend football camp this summer. Thank you!

A mother of two children that works full time has gotten behind on rental assistance. She owes $380, and if not paid, there will be a $100 late fee as of tomorrow May 6th. The mother got behind due to having medical concerns in January that are still getting figured out. She has had to go to several doctors appointments and is still trying to get to the bottom of the concerns. Missing work has lead to getting behind on rent. Please consider helping to pay, so that the family can continue to have stable housing while the mother navigates these uncertain times.

Finding a job can be such a long and difficult process. This single mom has been out of work due to a medial condition and has just recently been cleared to go back at her full capacity. She has been working in fast food while she looks for something more consistent, but it isn't really enough for her to pay her bills. Mom was just approved for an income based payment plan through Duke, but it will not take affect for a couple billing cycles. Mom does not currently have the $171 due to Duke at this time and is very concerned about falling into disconnect. The complex where she lives has a policy that could cause her to be evicted if a utility bill is in disconnect. Please consider helping this mom and her child stay in their home with the lights on. This mother of 4 is working to stay on top of bills, however has gotten behind on her electric bill. She works full time, but still struggles to make enough to pay all of her necesities on time, due to the high cost of living. Her electric bill is due tomorrow and needs $320 in order to pay on time. If not paid, the bill will significantly go up (and will also take her off of her PIPP payment plan) which could lead to it being disconnected in the near future. Thank you for considering!

This student recently broke his bike and has attempted multiple times to fix it with no luck. He uses the bike to get around the community for school, sports, and summer work as both his parents work and mom is finishing up radiation for her breast cancer.

An 18 year old student who is about to graduate is in dire need of school fees being paid. This student has made it very far, all while working, he is set to graduate and will still be able to walk regardless, but will not recieve transcripts if the high fee is not paid. This student owes $450 in school fees which unforutanately, the fees are some that cannot be waived by the school. Mother of three with a baby due in May needs assistance with her vehicle. She does not have reliable transportation which serves as a barrier getting her children to appointments. She's had recent work on her vehicle but needs a catalytic converter and rear bearings very soon to avoid other problems.

This single mom of 3 is looking for help with her electric bill this month. She got behind trying to get caught up on other things.
