The mother is currently depressed. She has dogs in the home that have used the bathroom inside, causing the house to smell terrible. Mother got an eviction notice, and she has until the end of the month to clean it and get out. Her vacuum also recently broke. Children are currently placed out of the home due to the condition of the home. It is very cluttered, there is trash, and just over all needs to be cleaned. Mother would appreciate any type of cleaning supplies, bleach, wipes, vacuum, trash bags, etc.

We are working with a 16-year-old male who resides with his grandparents. This youth has been working really hard and come a long way. He would like to be able to attend his school prom next weekend on 5/17 but has been unable to find a suit/tuxedo. Grandparents are on fixed income and have had to designate funds to some other costs for this youth, so they are unable to afford the cost of a rental suit/tuxedo. The family has looked at all of the local second hand and thrift shops, however, they have been unable to find coordinating items in his size.

The sizes this youth would need are as follows: Shirt and Suit Jacket/Tux - 2XL, Pants - 40x38, Dress Shoes - 11.5

Mother has a newborn, and has secured housing. Mother needs help with living room furniture and a bed for herself and the baby. Currently the child is placed with her mother, and Mom is completing services before child can be in her home. Any help with this would help to be able to transition the child home.

An 18 yo female who is living in her own housing with her husband who is 24 years old. Their roommate moved out and took the refrigerator. Therefore, other than coolers, they have no way to keep their food cold. In need of a refrigerator, a used one will be accepted also. Thanking you in advance.

A mom has been hospitalized due to premature rupture of membranes. This mother is set to deliver her baby girl, likely prematurely. Mother was expecting to have more time to compile resources for a car seat but is now facing a long term hospitalization. Mother does not have a car seat for her baby. Mother is requesting support for these things! Please consider delivering these items to hospital directly, as mother will be hospitalized through delivery.

Mother who has a 2 month old and 5 year old daughter is currently facing eviction and is asking for assistance with her rent payment. Mother has been in court due to custody issues with her partner and has been left with very little support financially. Mother needs $1325 by MAY 9 in order to avoid going to court for the eviction. Mother wants to avoid eviction and remain housed with her two small children, if at all possible!

Mother is also in need of micro-preemie diapers, as her preemie daughter is still small and was recently re-hospitalized and discharged home. Even the preemie diapers that the hospital carries are too large for her daughter. Specifically, mom is looking to obtain shirts, pants/ shorts, and/ or socks. Mom reported her son wears 18M in all clothing items.

She has a December balance of $41 that she is currently paying on but still has to pay the rent for January - April which is $1,057. Every month on the 6th late fees of $105 accrue on the account. Mom is currently unemployed but is actively job searching and interviewing. She has reached out to TANF and has secured emergency assistance of $1,500 which has been applied to the account. CDSS is working with a mother who has made great strides towards reunification! She has recently progressed to unsupervised visitation and is going to be able to spend a large amount of time with her child over Mother's Day weekend. She has had to cut her work hours due to the requirements placed on her, and could use assistance with diapers and wipes for her one-year-old daughter. She wears size four diapers. The agency is working with a youth who has been in foster care. The youth, age 19, does receive Social Security Benefits. He saved his money for three months and was able to obtain an apartment. The only item he has is a twin bed. The agency is requesting assistance in helping this young man furnish his apartment. He needs a small sofa or love seat, dishes, glasses / cups, silverware, pots and pans, bath towels, wash clothes, dish towels, dish clothes, twin size sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and any other items one needs when they are just starting off on their own. Gently used items are fine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A 14-year-old youth just came into foster care via a CHINS Order for Truancy. The grandmother became the placement for the youth, and she has a room for him but no bed. The room was previously used for storage. Due to the unexpectedness of the situation, the grandmother was unable to prepare for her grandson and lacks financial resources to purchase a bed for the youth at this time. The family would greatly appreciate any assistance in obtaining a twin bed for the youth.
