A three year old was placed with paternal grandmother almost two years ago. The child's father is often homeless, incarcerated or unable to be located and his mother struggles with substance use. Grandmother works two jobs while also raising her own minor child. Grandmother does not receive any financial assistance from either parent or the Department and reports she is struggling with groceries. She has been provided resources for food banks but is often working when food banks are open. Requesting assistance with groceries.

These children were safety planned out of their home and placed into the care of their grandparents. the grandparents were working and needing help so both maternal and paternal grandparents are splitting time for the children so that they can maintain the placements. Both grandmothers lost their employment due to this placement so they are in need of support to care for the children.

This family has been working with the Department for almost a year, there has been a recent change in living circumstances due to new information brought to the Department. Mom has been the protective for this case but is now facing multiple financial struggles that include her car breaking down, the family is down to one income which has caused them to file bankruptcy and they are struggling to keep consistent groceries in the home. The family is asking for $200 visa gift card to help cover groceries and some snacks for the kids.

I am working with a teenager who's foster placement was recently disrupted due to the foster parents getting divorced. The teenager is currently in a respite location but does not have all of her belongings including underwear, pajamas, and school-appropriate attire. There have been several meetings between myself and the foster family to retrieve items, however the youth still indicates she is missing many of her clothing items. I am request giftcards to take the youth shopping to get her provisions needed for her day-to-day life while staying at the respite while other foster options are looked into and investigated.

I have an eight year old male who is in kinship placement. His parents have both been working hard to address safety concerns and work towards reunification. Mom has been in her own apartment since about February of 2025 and dad will be moving into his own apartment next week (parents are separated). With the anticipated return home, parents will need a bed for their son. I am seeking support in providing a twin bed (one for each house hold) so this is one less item they need to worry about.

I am working with three kiddos who are 4 (male), 3 (female), and 11 mo. (male). In May, they were removed from their home and placed into foster care. The initial foster home they were placed in was not able to meet their needs, so a week later, they had to move again. When the kids were placed in their current home, they did not have much with them. Foster mom reported that the clothing they had does not fit and a lot of the baby items are old, dirty, and had to be thrown away. The two older children are high needs as they struggle with behavioral issues, speech delays, and regulation challenges. The youngest has a brain injury that requires ongoing care. We want to support them and the foster parents as much as possible to help with stability and structure. In speaking with foster parents, they would benefit from some additional support in buying new and useable items for the kids.

This dedicated single mother needs support in getting a Hepa Filter for her child who struggles with asthma.

A sixteenth years old is being placed with her older sister. The youth is on probation and taking responsibility for the decision he has made in the past but she is also to take advantage of a second chance to rebuild her life. The youth is eager to gain success and independence.

A fifteenth years old youth is being removed from her mother's care due to mental health concerns and placed with her maternal grandmother. The grandmother has deep love for her granddaughter and has stepped up to care for her but has limited income, providing even the essentials like shoes and clothes.

A family of 3 are currently staying in a hotel after being in a tent with their newborn daughter. They are working very hard on their sobriety and to get back on their feet. They're in great need of funds for groceries and to put towards their hotel bill.

A dedicated single foster mother is seeking support to help her 13-year-old foster daughter attend a local summer day camp throughout the summer. The child was originally expected to participate in summer school, but due to her unique needs, she did not qualify. With her foster mom working full-time, summer day camp would provide this child with a safe, structured, and enriching environment during the day. Camps in the area cost approximately $500 per week, the state has provided the family with help by giving them $300 a week so we are looking for the difference being $200 a week. The family is hoping to access care for the full summer (approximately 8–10 weeks). This would allow the child to enjoy social connection, fun activities, and consistency—while ensuring the foster parent can maintain employment and stability in the home. Any financial assistance toward covering the cost of one or more weeks would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help ensure this child has a memorable, engaging summer.
