I have a 12yo child that was placed in a kinship placement. She is in need of school uniforms for a new school she was enrolled in. This will help her not be in dress code violation. She will also need a dresser to store her clothing. She does not have storage, and this will help with storage.

The screen door that goes to the backyard is broken and makes it nearly impossible for the kiddos to get out there and play. Not only is this a safety concern, but the two kids are always out playing in the backyard and this has hindered that. Screen door 81" L x 36" W (approximately, measured by FP)

Mother has 2 young children. Mother has epilepsy and Father works at night. Family needs assistance and would like to install cameras in residence so father can monitor the residence while mother is home alone with the children. Cameras will help the family to ensure the safety of the children and the mother due to her medical condition.

DFPS is trying to preserve this kinship home to allow a 17-year-old to remain with family, instead of aging out of foster care. His father has never been in the picture, mom has been murdered, and previous kinship grandmother has also passed, so this is the last family member who is able to take him in & support him as he enters adulthood. Aunt was in a recent serious car accident, so she's unable to work right now, but still wants to keep her nephew in the home. The family would appreciate grocery gift-cards and any other household items to get them through this difficult time.

I am writing to request assistance in obtaining school uniforms for a young girl who has recently moved in with her father. Her father was recently released from prison and is working diligently to establish a stable and supportive environment for his daughter. As they work to rebuild their lives together, financial resources are currently limited. Providing this young student with the appropriate school uniform will help her feel confident and prepared as she transitions into a new school environment. This mother became involved with CPS because she was a victim of domestic violence. In that relationship she was financially manipulated by her abuser, and he was the primary provider for the family. Since the abuser has moved out of the home mom has received an eviction notice that will be filed on 4/15/2025. Mom has 2 children, a 9-year-old and 3-year-old. She receives disability for a seizure disorder, but that is not enough to support the family. I am seeking rental/financial assistance for mom to prevent homelessness for this family.

This grandmother is currently going through the process to try and adopt her granddaughter. She has encountered some recent health concerns that have put her down and she is battling a rough situation with her landlord as they will not make any repairs on her roof despite leaks. This grandma has been trying to tell them the house needs a new roof, but they just go in and patch it but the leaks continue in the home and through their wiring in the bathroom which is a hazard. The grandma feels she is in a hard spot because the housing voucher has gone down and if she tells them they will make her move, but she couldn't afford to get a home in the area to keep the child in the same school. The grandmother also used to have a lawn service come mow her very small backyard, but due to recent health issues she has not been able to work much and couldn't afford to keep up the service. She would love assistance with getting a lawn mower to so she can mow her lawn. I would like to request assistance for this grandmother with roofing services and possible lawn services, if possible.

Family lost all belongings during Hurricane Beryl. Father is the only provider as they recently had a baby. Mother is a stay-at-home-wife/mother. She is caring and raising their three children. They have a 14-year-old, 12-year-old, and a 4-month infant. Father is working to provide necessary needs such as food and housing. They are unable to cover for all other items needed such as materials needed for their infant. Client is in need of a walker, stroller, and crib for child.

They are unable to cover for all other items needed such as furniture loss. Client is in need of a couch and dining table for the family.

Family is in need of: Both parents have Asylum court appointments and pay for their documentation fees for their applications processing costs, pay their apartment rent and utilities, and provide basic essentials for their children. Both parents do not have any money left over to buy cleaning supplies, household items, or clothes for themselves (parents). Client's husband is the only one working in the home, and is not able to buy shoes, pants, and shirts for himself (men shoes size 11 1/2, men's pants size W 45 L 34 and 2X men's shirts). Client is in need of women's clothing, and shoes as well (blouse size-medium, dress size-small, shoe size-6, pant size-small or medium). They are willing to receive second hand clothing and do not request new clothes, they are okay with clothes that a church may have in their clothing donations. Parents use Metro bus transportation. Family is in need of shampoo, body soap, paper towels, toothpaste, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, toilet paper, a wagon (to carry food from food pantry)bathroom towels and kitchen towels, Stovetop pots and pans.

Client has a six-month baby. She shared that she does not have transportation. She walks near her home to different locations such as grocery store, clinic, etc. It can be exhausting having to travel to different locations with an infant, we would like to request your help with a travel system stroller which will provide safety and wellbeing for the child while traveling with his mom to places and appointments.
