Hello, I am writing in hopes someone can help this family with some needed supplies for their children. This is a two-parent household that is struggling with an infant with some very complex diagnosis. That is not just one diagnosis but several. This parent has had to give her own child CPR 2 times and also has an older child who is nonverbal and autistic. Her middle child is also working with First Steps for his speech. This mom is involved with lots of programs to better her family and trying to learn and know everything she can about parenting and her children's needs. The father in the home does work but they do struggle with all of the appointments, and everything needed to care for their children. The family is in need of one twin bunk bed with mattresses and bedding for the two oldest children. They are also needing a door alarm for their front door because they have a very smart child that has almost figured out how to get through the safety device on the handle. They already have a lock for high on the door that they are needing to put on, but the mom would feel more confident with an actual alarm as well because if she is working with the baby she can actually hear if her other child gets out of the home. Please consider helping these children have a comfortable bed to lay their heads on at night. I will be out of the office tomorrow and next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for training.

Needing clothes and hygiene items for 2 boys, (size 7/8 and 10/12). Shorts, tshirts, pajamas/sweatpants, underwear, socks. Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, laundry detergent, etc. Mom has 4 children of her own and is also watching her nephew for the summer, and nephews parents are not able to provide these items for him.

A relative is needing to move to create space for a child in care, so the child can have his own room. The relative is so happy to be supporting this child and has started the moving process. The relative has requested some help in getting a dresser for the youth.

Working with a newly expecting mother who is needing some work pants (Black - size 2x & 3x) Also, she is needing a few pairs of shorts and summer shirts (size 2x-3x) as she has none. She has limited support and was recently homeless but has been able to locate a place and gain employment. Thanks!

A mother whom currently resides in Clay county has lost custody of her children and they are currently in Children's Division care and custody. The mother was residing with the father in their home; however, one day he never returned from "work" and had taken their only working vehicle, most of the money in their accounts, the mother's methadone, and left the mother in the home with past due bills. The mother could greatly benefit from assistance with paying her past due bills so that she can at least have another month or so in her home until a better situation is located for her. The home is way past due on mortgage, I believe she stated 3 payments are past due and we are worried about the home being foreclosed on and mom becoming homeless because of this.

This family includes mom, dad, twin sisters (10), and younger sister (8). The family has a great love for nature and animals; they can be found playing outside on any given day. Due to recent financial hardships, including an emergency surgery for dad and faulty transmission in the family vehicle, the family is unable to pay mortgage for this upcoming month and is at risk. Family is seeking assistance for this month in order to maintain stability. The family has therapeutic support services to help them navigate this time and we are hopeful you can help provide this gift to support them in the most important way- maintaining the safety of their home. Edit to add family has a plan in place for next month and going forward just need assistance in catching up the past due that is currently due.

Working with a young "mom to be" who is needing some help with getting a MO ID to apply for community programs. She does not have any other ID's that would help with enrolling in programs. She is also needing some additional supplies for the baby that, is due soon. She is needing a baby first aid kit (baby nail clippers, baby thermometer, medicine dropper, infant acetaminophen and diaper rash cream) & some receiving blankets Thank You!

We are seeking support for a family of three—a single father and his two children—who are in need of a carpet cleaner to help maintain a clean and healthy living environment. The father is working hard to care for his children and provide stability, but with limited resources and time, deep cleaning tasks like carpet care have become a challenge.

Providing a carpet cleaner—either as a donation or on loan—will make a meaningful impact in helping this family maintain their home, contributing to a more stable and nurturing environment for the children. This practical support will not only ease the father’s burden but also help strengthen the placement and long-term well-being of the family.
