A foster youth lost his phone when running away from a dog in the neighborhood he lives in. He retraced his steps but wasn't able to find it. His phone does not have a phone plan or minutes, therefore there was no additional way to track it. The youth use his phone on WIFI to communicate with his family. If someone has a phone that they are not using or would be willing to purchase a pay as you go type phone, I know this youth would appreciate it, therefore he can be in communication with his family.

Youth is in need of a pair of tennis shoes. The ones he had has broken down and he is wearing slides only at this time. Per his last placement his shoes weren't in with his items and attempted a few times to gain additional items, but no shoes were found. This youth wears a mans 10.5 and really enjoys dark colored Nike shoes, but stated he is okay with whatever he can get. Thank you for any assistance to help this youth gain a new pair of shoes.

I have a single mother that is needing assistance with getting her air conditioning fixed in her vehicle. She recently started a trial home visit and the summer heat is upon us and it is not ideal for her to be having her young kids in a car without air conditioning. She did get an estimate from a car repair place for $200. The car is up to date on taxes and is legally licensed to the mother.

A mom of two is currently residing in a domestic violence shelter. Her two children (boy age 5, girl age 7) were removed from her before entering shelter. Since then, mom has completed inpatient treatment and remains actively engaged in outpatient. She is also active in counseling, treatment court, and works full-time. She has increased her visits to unsupervised overnights and was recently able to secure a rental unit. She is in need of the following: couch, side tables, tv stand, washer and dryer, dining room table and chairs.

She is unable to move in until she gets beds for her and her children so that she can continue overnight visits that will eventually lead to them being returned to her custody. She is in need of 2 twin mattresses with the frames, 1 queen mattress with the frame, and dressers for each.

I have a hard working single mother that has gained a home of her own and is working hard to furnish it. She has accomplished so much fairly quickly in our Family Centered Services case and maintains contact almost daily with her case worker. The mother has sought out other community resources before asking for help. The mother is slowly but surely furnishing her home and we are hoping to help her obtain a washer and dryer. If you are able to help in anyway with this request it is truly appreciated. The mother has also asked about a resource that provides dressers. The new home does not have much closet space for her and the children. CD will continue reaching out to resources and will update this request if one is found.
