Bio mom is without transportation, she does not live in an area that has a bus route. She needs assistance with ride share gift cards in order to maintain her job, services recommended by DHS, as well as having a means to make it to scheduled visitation with her children in order to maintain that relationship.
I have two boys that are in a non-paid placement who are desperately needing clothes at this time. They have both gone through a growth spurt recently. One is 16 years old and the other is 15. The 15 year old has requested joggers, basketball shorts, t-shirts and hoodies all adult small. He is needing socks and underwear also. He could probably wear Boys size 16-18. He is pretty skinny/small. He has also requested a pair of Nike or Adidas slides, Size 8. The 16 year old will wear the same things but will wear Adult Medium. they like to wear OKC Thunder and NIke or sports themed clothing. They LOVE to play basketball so something basketball themed. They would probably like black socks. The 16 year old would probably wear adult small in underwear - both wear briefs. The 16 year old would probably wear size 10 slides. THANK you so much in advance. These boys are desperate for new clothing.
Mom of 7 kids has them home with her in trial reunification and has been doing well - we are so proud of her! Unfortunately, they are in public housing and mom found out this week that they have bed bugs ): This family is in desperate needs of bed bug treatment and clearly cannot afford that. As of now, I have not looked for an exterminator yet, but would be appreciative of either financial assistance for this family or if there by some small chance there is a community connection that knows how to do this it would be incredible.
An upper elementary age girl has been placed with a kinship home and could benefit from having a room that she can call her own. She has been in foster care the majority of her life and has landed at a wonderful home with a family friend. She could benefit from having a room that reflects her and makes her feel special. She would really like a loft bed with a desk underneath. (She is a bit delayed in school so having a place to catch up on school work with the help of foster parents would bring her confidence as well as a calm place to study) and shelving in her room for her belongings would also bring agency to her. Cubby shelves that you can pull the buckets out would be ideal. She is a pre-teen sweetheart who loves to color and draw so having a space she can call 'her own' would boost her confidence tremendously. If you are able to purchase these items, please respond and thank you!

This resource family is attempting to move homes to have more space for the 3 adults (brothers and uncle) and the 2 foster children in their home. They are trying to get their service started at their new home, and it is costing them a "service fee" of $344. If you can assist with this family, please let me know. Thank you!
Hello! We have a unique situation and are seeking assistance in helping a single father of a 12year old girl. After finding out about her 4 years ago he has done everything he can to build a relationship with her. Due to untreated asthma, she had a near death experience about 2 years ago. DHS became involved and placed the child with her father. Due to the nature of the case, not finding out about her until 4 years ago, and the current legal proceedings, legal custody of this child remains with her mother. Due to the complex legal issues this father must take this matter to family court and must be represented by an attorney to gain full custody. This father has done everything in his power to provide a safe and loving home and has never let any obstacles stand in his way when it comes to being there for her and meeting all her needs, many of which are medical needs which can be complicated at times. A local attorney has been moved by the family’s story and has agreed to take the case at a heavily discounted rate which is $1,500.00. Any amount that anyone could contribute to the attorney fees would be incredibly helpful, we are hoping that if multiple churches are able to assist we could get the full cost of this attorney’s fees covered. Once custody is granted, DHS will be able to successfully close this case. We are incredibly grateful for any help that can be offered and appreciate you taking the time to help those in our community!
Family of 4 with a special needs child who is non-verbal and on a feeding tube is in need of a toddler bed with mattress, a twin mattress, and a play space play pen with six panels. The family recently had a job loss and financially have been struggling. The current bed, mattress, and play pen are in very poor condition and not suitable for use by the child. These items will provide a safe, clean space for this child to sleep and place to safely play.
A FAMILY IS NEEDING HELP!
There is a family that is needing help! The father is the primary financial provider for his family. The father has been laid off of his job due to there being no work for him. The father is doing everything he can to provide for his family. He is currently doing odd jobs to make some type of income. The family has been able to cover their essential utilities at the moment, but was not able to pay their phone bill. Both mother and father use their phones to attend services and stay in contact with their providers for themselves and their children. The family is needing help to cover the cost of: $97. The mother usually goes to Emergency Infant Services for diapers, pull ups, and wipes; however she has reached capacity for this month. The family is also needing help with the following items: Diapers (size 3; any brand), pull ups (2T; any brand), and wipes (any brand).

This family is in the process of reunifying with their 16-year-old daughter. These parents live in a home with limited space and an open backyard with their 3 female cats and 2 female dogs in their home that are in need of being neutered and spayed. One of their female dogs has recently had a litter of puppies and both parents have been struggling to find a home for the puppies. Both parents are aware that they are unable provide for the puppies which is why they would like to prevent their pets from the possibilities of breeding. This family qualifies for the $10 low-income spay and neutering services offered through HELP Tulsa OK Alliance for Animals, but they do not have the funds to pay for this service for their pets. This family would greatly appreciate any assistance offered for their pets spay and neuter services.
Young family of 5 is needing help with gas money to ensure family visits can occur on a regular basis. Circumstance cannot allow the children to move home for a few weeks. In the meantime any help with gas would be appreciated. If the need is met the children will have family visits on a daily basis. Thank you for all that you do.
I have a dad who is currently staying in a hotel which is costing him $393 per week. Once he pays this amount, he has less than $60 left to last him for the week in terms of gas and food. He could use a weeks stay and grocery help. He is attempting to reunify with his two children.
Bio-mom is need of help paying someone for transportation to service providers and to visits with children. Mom is currently in between jobs and does not have a car, but has a friend that is willing to provide the transportation, if mom can help with expenses.
There are two sweet and energetic little girls (ages 8, 9) currently in an adoptive placement with their maternal cousin (adoptive mom). This adoptive mom has made an enormous sacrifice for her cousin by taking in her children. These precious girls have already been through more trauma than a child should face. Adoptive mom has been working tirelessly making sure the girls have the proper care and therapy they need to work through their trauma. The girls have told the worker on several occasion they would like to have fun and attend summer camp. If you are able to help this family with all or part of this fee, it would be an enormous help in alleviating some of the financial stress foster mom is currently under. Thank you for your help! We appreciate you!
One twin size mattress and bed frame is being requested for the resource parent's home so that one of the foster children can have a larger mattress to sleep on and frame for it. One dresser is being requested so that one of the foster children can have a dresser to put their clothes in. A large rug is being requested so the younger foster children in the home will have soft flooring for their play area, which has a concrete floor. There is one working resource parent in the home that includes three adults and three foster children. Income is limited per month.
A foster home is in need of assistance paying a $75 enrollment fee for daycare for two young foster children. There is one working resource parent in the home that has three adults and three foster children. Income is limited per month.
Hello, I have an incarcerated parent who is participating with DHS and has taken responsibility for his role in what has occurred in his children's lives. He is remorseful and would like to continue phone/video contact, and writing letters, through appropriate procedures. while allowing his children to heal while in foster care and obtain permanency. I respectfully request $50 to add to his "books" so he can call and write his children.
There are three energetic girls 5, 8, and 9 currently in an adoptive placement with their Aunt. The girls have been asking the worker constantly to find day camps they can attend because they do not want to attend everyday once school is out. Foster mom and the girls have found several different camps; however scholarships and discounts there is still a balance preventing these precious girls from attend camps. Which will cause them to miss out on adventure, laughs, and making new friends. If you are able to help this family with all or part of this fee, it would be an enormous help in alleviating some of the financial stress foster mom is currently under. Thank you for your help! We appreciate you!
Hello!! I am a school-based specialist with DHS and Union Public Schools. I have a family of 3, a mother and her two daughters, who need assistance with their vehicle. The mother, who is a single parent and does not receive any help financially from the father, was recently in a wreck(not her fault.) Unfortunately, she only had liability coverage on her vehicle, which means she is out of pocket for her repairs. Her vehicle has substantial damage to her hood and lights. These have to be replaced in order for her to be able to drive safely. The mother has been working very diligently to raise funds(working overtime) and looking for someone who will assist her with the repairs if she funds the parts. She has already spent quite a bit of money herself and is running out of funds to finish the car. She still needs the headlights and hood, which equal over $400. The mother has done the work of finding her parts by calling auto salvages and looking online for used parts. I can provide a picture of the parts and their costs. The hood is $259.98 and the lights are $214.99. This mother and her children(one is a senior at Union looking at graduating from Tulsa Tech soon) would be so very grateful for this help. Please and thank you.
