I have a foster child that has been placed with her brother and his fiancé, which is going well so far, but they are in need of some financial assistances with their rent. He is a little behind in rent and would be most appreciative of any contributions in helping him so that our placement stays successful.

I am working with a family that includes the grandfather who is a vet, his daughter and his grandson whom all live in the home. The family lives in a hoarding situation and desperately needs assistance with getting the home clean. Currently the grandfather has a boot on each foot for medical reasons, and the daughter is not mobile and in a hospital bed. The living conditions appear to be getting worse and are unsafe for the child. We are asking for either a team to help clean the home (we do recommend protective wear for this job) or assistance paying for a cleaning service and any recommendations of cleaning services that accommodate this kind of situation. If the home is not clean the child will be at risk of coming into care. The child has a very special bond with his grandfather, and we are working very hard to prevent him from being removed.

I am working with a single mother with two children, and she is in need of a window AC unit for the home. If anyone has a used one available, or would be willing to contribute financially to secure this need for the family, it would be greatly appreciated!

A family is facing change and instability. The mother is struggling with mental health, and the children have been placed in care with a relative. To give the kids a sense of normalcy, the family is seeking help to send them to summer camp. However, funds are limited, and support is needed to make this possible.

(This is a follow up to a recent request with the updated need.) There is a single father in the county who is on disability and doing all he can to provide the best for his two children (a pre-teen & teenager). There is limited support received from the mother. The family has been without a working oven for quite some time. It was recently assessed by an appliance repairment who concluded that it cannot be repaired. Therefore the family is need of a new or used oven so the family is better able to cook meals to nourish the family appropriately. The family is also connected with a local ministry/organization who has an eye out for an oven that the family may be able to take.

This young adult is involved in the Fostering Futures program. They have now worked and attained a new apartment and wish to have a couch to sit on to complete their living area. The couch should seat 3 and be grey in color. Thank you for considering this person's future of living in their own space.

I am working with a family that is in need of assistance with buying food for their home. The older sister just received temporary custody of her siblings and she has worked towards keeping them in the county schools while paying for child care. At this time she has no help from the prior guardians. She does have a job but travels picking them up and bringing them 30 minutes back home each day so any assistance would help.

I am working with a family who has a high electricity bill of $762.15 and has not been able to get their second vehicle running in order to get to any of the churches for assistance with their electricity bill. The adult female is a single mother of 5 minors and 1 adult child. Her significant who works during the day and has been working towards assisting with replacing the food that was lost during the power outages and the minimum payment of $433.17 that's due. We're asking for assistance with $322.15 towards the electric bill in order for the adults in this home to continue utilizing their finances for other basic needs in their family and medical appointments.

Aunt recently took in two of her sisters' children, even though she doesn't have a lot of money. She wants to keep them out of foster care, but it's been difficult to manage the extra expenses, especially when it comes to feeding everyone. With the added children, her tight budget is stretched even thinner. Feeding the family on a limited income is challenging, and she’s doing her best to make sure the kids have what they need. The family is seeking $300 in food assistance to help stabilize the situation, making it easier for them to provide for everyone. Gift cards to Kroger or Walmart would be a huge help in purchasing necessary groceries. Any support would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time as the family adjusts to the new dynamic and tries to stay on track with their budgeting.
