This family is composed of mom and 3 children. They just moved to CO to get away from a domestic violence relationship with the children's father. There are also concerns regarding someone in dad's family sexually abusing the children. Mom moved to CO to escape that as well. Mom has been working really hard to keep her children safe. Mom has been looking for jobs every day since she has been here and at the same time has been working to enroll her child into school, get therapy for her son, and apply for CCAP so that her youngest two children can have child care so she can work to support the family. Mom has not asked me for much help but she is struggling right now handling everything on her own. Mom is worried that she is going to lose her car because she owes $400 by the end of next week (on 9/22). Mom does not have money to pay this right now because with everything going on she has not yet been able to start working. Mom is still actively trying get a job and begin working as soon as possible. Mom is worried that if she looses her car, she will not be able to get to work, get her kids to school/daycare, or take her kids to their therapy. Mom has worked so hard to move away from an unsafe environment and assure that her kids are safe. I am looking to see if there is anyone who can help support her in paying the monthly pymt of $400 or the remaining balance of $2700.

A single mom is expecting her second child - a baby girl - to be born in December and she is currently raising her son. The client is accessing as much support as she can from a mom's support group, her own grandma and sister, and social services. This mom is working hard with a job in retail and is applying for a second job, but they will not hire her until after the baby has arrived. This mom's car was recently stolen which has added barriers to getting to doctor's appointments and work. After all this mom's efforts to support her family, she is asking for additional help to get a couple of the necessary items she will need for her daughter. She will need a car seat to safely travel with her newborn and this will be a needed item to leave the hospital after giving birth. She is also asking for a pack-n-play as she is looking ahead to the logistics of caring for both her son and daughter together. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the mom's approval. Thank you for your support to this family!

Hello I am writing this note to request support for a single mother of two. Mom is the sole provider for both of her children, one of which has complex special needs. Mom is in need of support with getting her kids a small desk/table and two chairs to complete homework with. We are hoping that having a desk/table that mimics what is at school will support with the transition to school.

Eight year old girl in kinship care would benefit from a room divider. She shares a room with her 13 year old brother who has autism. They get along mostly but there are times they fight and it would be nice if they were able to have some privacy when they feel like they need space. A folding room divider would be beneficial to provide space for both children and keep the peace in the home when emotions are elevated.
