Family has been homeless for months is finally getting into a trailer move in date 5-30. The children have been staying at the Noyes home for months. They have received beds for the family. They are needing a couch and kitchen table with chairs for their new home.

A foster child is staying in a motel with her grandmother, and they need gift cards for meals/food. The grandmother does not have transportation, so they stay close to motel or utilize the bus.

Family of 5 needs (3) dehumidifer's for kid's bedrooms in the basement. There are fans in the bedrooms; however, the rooms are very stuffy and smells like mildew. Any help would be appreciated. It is possible for the girls to open their doors and share one of the deumidifer's, if needed.

Family recently moved into a home after being homeless. They are in need of a full size bed along with sheets, twin size sheets, wash cloths / towels, couch, and microwave. The family has utilized other resources for the twin bed and blankets. Thank you in advance.

The placement provider of a 16 year foster child is in a desperate need to pay her utility bills. The bill has increased to approximately $1600 and the family is in danger of having the service disconnected on 5/20 if the bill is not paid. The household has 4 children and 2 adults and the foster mom is working hard to support the family but has not been able to keep up with demands of the family.

Child requires a tablet for virtual therapy to assist with dealing with trauma and abuse as court ordered.

I have a single mother of 4 whose water was disconnected due to paperwork was not provided to update water services at the home. Recently water was turned off at the home. The mother contacted the landlord, who stated the mother will need to pay at least of the outstanding water bill. The total due is 801.90. The mother is asking for $400.00 to restore the services. As the water has been turned off for a couple of days which has caused a minor inconvenience. Once the water is restored in the home, it will allow this family to continue with moving towards reunification of the children. Worker does have all necessary information for the donor to pay the bill directly to KC Water Department.

Hello, I have a family I am working with that have a couple of small children that like to sneak out and escape from the home. The mother is often by herself and is in need of alarms and safety handles to avoid two of the children from leaving the home while she is cooking, taking care of the baby, etc. The family is in need of the sound alarms that stick to the door/windows. They will need a minimum of 2/pack. Also, the round knob door safety covers for 2 doors in their home. Thank you for your consideration.

A youth in care has given birth to a baby girl and is in need of some baby supplies. She is currently caring for this baby while in a foster home and they are thriving.

Bio Mom has recently moved into her own place and has previously been homeless. She is in need of all household goods in order for her child to return home and for reunification to occur. Mom is happy to have her own place and this is a big step for her, but she needs lots of support and furnishings. This request would help to make her new place a suitable home and allow baby to possibly be reunited with her.

This request is being made in order to keep two boys with their biological Uncle as placement. Uncle is needing money for gas in order to travel back and forth to complete the licensure process in order to continue being placement for his nephews.

This family is just coming from homelessness and working on saving money to get a house soon. Unfortunately there was some medical needs that came up for the family that they could really use the support of their community to help them. This would be such a huge benefit for them not only helping them pay and get there medical procedure started but also be able to keep saving money so they can get there own house soon. This mother is working so hard to get her family into house and saving every little bit of money she gets so they can afford one soon. She would appreciate this support so much.
