Father hasn't been around, and Mother is needing assistance to get items she needs for the children. Such as bedding items for bunk beds, Mattresses for bunkbeds, highchair & 2 dressers. Unemployed disabled mother of 2 needing dressers or plastic drawer organizers for her daughters bedroom. The disabled stepfather only has a part-time job. The family is needing assistance with getting the dressers/organizers for the girls because funds are tight and they cannot purchase any. Any help is appreciated, so if you have one or two dressers/organizers that you don't use and would like to donate to this family, it would be deeply appreciated.

The Department has a little girl placed locally with her grandmother and aunt. They have previously been provided a twin mattress for her through CarePortal however they are needing a twin frame to get the mattress off the floor. She is thriving in this home and the Department wants to do everything to keep her in this family placement. Thank you so much for any assistance!

After completing an inpatient treatment program, a single father of three teenage boys is turning his life around and setting a powerful example for his children. Determined to build a stable future, he has enrolled in barber college and is fully committed to his new path. He has shown incredible dedication and strength in his recovery journey, balancing parenting and education with resilience. Now, he needs help purchasing clippers and the essential tools required for his training. With a little support, he can continue moving forward and provide a better life for his family through a career he is passionate about.

A single mother of four is working hard to reunify with her children, who are in DHS custody. She is maintaining steady employment and fulfilling all case plan requirements. As she prepares to bring her children home, she is in need of beds for herself and her children to meet DHS standards for reunification. This is one of the final steps standing between her and a safe, stable home for her family. Any support in helping her secure these items would have a lasting impact on their future.

A single mother that works full time is in the process of being reunified with her four children, who are currently in DHS custody. Despite maintaining steady employment and meeting all of DHS's requirements, she is struggling to afford the basic household essentials. Our participant is committed to building a stable and loving home for her children but needs some help to continue making progress.

Two teenagers have been experiencing changes at home that have affected their mental health. When asked what would be helpful, one of the children requested a "big fuzzy white blanket". This request is for 2 blankets so that they can both have one.

Hello Church Family,

We have a family in the Sallisaw area who is currently facing a challenging time and could use some extra support. They recently experienced a vehicle fire while traveling, which resulted in the loss of their SUV. This unexpected event has created additional financial strain as they work to replace their vehicle.

In the midst of this, the family is also in need of some essential household items for the children in their care. Specifically, they are requesting:

Two toddler beds (the twins are outgrowing their mini cribs) and a twin bed for their older brother

New car seats for the children ( boosters with 5 point harness) The boys each need their own dressers as they are outgrowing their plastic totes.

We would love to come alongside this family and help meet these urgent needs. If you or someone you know can contribute new or gently used items—or would be willing to donate funds toward purchasing them—please let us know. Every little bit helps, and your support can make a big difference for this family during a tough season.

A Single mother of 2 boys, ages 11 and 1 month old is great need of a vehicle. Her vehicle has been unreliable ever since about 1 year ago when a foster case started. This mom was living in the car with her son and their dogs. Having an open case in this county; she had no other choice than to settle here. She started working and was able to get into a place and her son was placed in home-trial placement. Later on, she lost her job, her car broke down and was unable to find employment due to the pregnancy. She gave birth to a new baby a month ago. Having a reliable vehicle will make a significant difference in their lives. This mom will be able to drop her younger son to a daycare and go to work.
