I have parents who are working on getting their kids back, but have ran into an issue with their foodstamps to where they aren't able to get any food for this month. These parents could really use some help to get them by while we work on efforts to get their food stamps issue fixed. Finances are tight and they don't want to bring their kids home to a home with no food. please help if able. I know the family would very much appreciate any assistances.

This amazing 16-year-old girl has been through a lot. She has been in DHS custody for over a year now and has finally found a wonderful foster mother and foster sister! She has moved from shelters to different homes and has changed schools three times last year. She has been working really hard to keep up her grades and truly is starting to love school. She is starting to even think ahead to college and is in need of a laptop to help her along the way. Despite having three different schools last year, she graduated from her sophomore year with A's, B's and one C. She has also started driver's education to become more independent and could use a little help with gas money to assist in her learning time behind the wheel. Children like this one make me love my job as a social worker. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much for considering her story.

This lovely family of five is currently working on getting more time together. Dad has just finished a 30-day rehab program and is doing well! He was able to keep his employment while he attended the rehab and is now back to work. However, his hours have been cut to 25 per week. He used to work about 60 hours per week but his bosses had to hire new help while he was in rehab and so he now has less hours. Mom also works for the same employer and has been doing great! She is one class away from finishing her required classes. The three children are amazing kiddo's that love video games, outdoors, and swimming. They are very excited to see mom and dad weekly. Mom and Dad recently totally cleaned out their home so that they family could have visitations in a familiar space. However, the family's AC unit broke. They are in desperate need of a new unit so that the family can spend quality time together in their home in the cool air! The couple also has been having serious troubles with driving their vehicle to work and services. They also drive to NA meetings. The car's battery is totally shot and the alternator is bad. Any help for this family would be greatly appreciated. They are working so hard to get back into the routine of life. Thank you so much for considering their story!

a mother who has been kicked out of a home and is currently homeless and has no transportation and is expecting within a week give or take and has missed multiple doctors appointments. We are trying to get hotel room for at least a few nights to get her to doctors appointments and find her a shelter

Mom is needing assistance with getting her water turned back on. It has been off or a little bit and she is getting access to water to eat, cook, and clean themselves but this has been an ongoing issue that she is struggling to get back on

This foster family took placement of a teen, but they are in need of a bed for the custody child to help ensure they meet foster care policy for sleeping arrangements. Currently the custody child is having to sleep on the couch until a bed is found.

We had a family of 10 come to us about 2 weeks ago. They had moved here from Arizona with housing lined out and a job. Unfortunatley the housing fell through 2 hours before they got to Oklahoma. They were forced to use the funds they had to live in a hotel. When that money ran out they came to us and we were able to put them up for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks the father started working and has found a 5 bedroom home locally but doesn't have the full amount for the deposit. They can move in as early as today but are missing that 1200.00. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness!

A sweet family has said yes to taking in a newborn girl, but she is a preemie so none of the clothes they have in their foster stash fit. Let's come alongside them and help meet the physical needs while they focus on caring for her.
