This family has 4 boys, ages 11Y, 6Y, 5Y, and 1Y, the father in this family was the primary financial provider. He recently left his job as a bartender to focus on his sobriety to strengthen his family. Ms. Davis is a mother to 3 children under the age of two, a male who is 18 months old and a newborn set of female twins. She is working and trying to save money that her family needs. She is in need of assistance with diapers as they are expensive and take up a significant amount of her income. The diapers that are needed are size 1 and 4, wipes would be helpful for the family as well. Ms. Davis does not have a car so a stroller to transport her children when she walks places would be helpful.
A relative placement that is caring for their grandchild who has had difficulties with her ability to walk. She participated in physical therapy weekly. The physical therapy included time outside where she thrived the most. A single mother is currently unemployed while looking for full time work. I am requesting financial assistance to help pay rental expenses for a mother and her two young daughters (ages 1 and 5). The mother was a victim of a very serious domestic violence incident. After this incident the mother is choosing to protect herself and her daughters moving forward. Prior to this incident the mother remained home and cared for her daughters. After the incident the mother was able to find a job and she continues to work, however, there have been struggles with her being able to maintain the finances of her home and being able to meet the basic needs of her children on her own. Yet, this mother is working daily to do all that she can to care for her young daughters and to be able to work, even with her having very few family members or friends who can assist her. Over the past few months this mother has been struggling to make her monthly rental payments before the due date, which causes her to to pay an additional $400 to $500 in fees, which in turn causes her to fall behind on saving money for her rental payment for the upcoming month. She also has to still pay for utilities, car payment, household expenses, child care, gas to get to and from work, and groceries. I am requesting any assistance that is available for this family so that they are not evicted from their home. The mother currently owes rental expenses for the month of April and for the month of May which also includes late fees The lease ends in June and the mother has made the decision to move to an apartment that is much more affordable. Also if anyone has toddler a bed, this family is in need of one, as well as living room furniture. this young mother, in my opinion, is a really awesome mother who is doing her best to be the best mother for herself and her daughters despite all that they have been through and despite the limitations that she is faced with. She is moving forward daily despite the feelings of depression and hopelessness that she has and still is experiencing. This mother ensures that all of the basic needs of her daughters I met and she has two very beautiful fun and loving daughters who she only wants the best for. Updated on May 09, 2023 by an Agency Worker Assistance of any amount is still needed for this family. The initial request was for 2,600, and the family was able to get some money but they are still needing at least 1,800.
