Dallas County Permanency Court Judge Gonzales has 15 youth who have never been adopted graduating from high school this year. Some are going to college, some are staying in extended care, and some are going into the work force. We would like to provide each of them with “Launch Baskets” to support them as they enter adulthood without family supports. Each launch basket will be tailored to each youth’s specific situation and preferences and will include a Bible and items such as new bedding, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and gift cards. The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.

The father (44) of two of the children was murdered and he was going to buy the girls new beds and dressers. Currently, they are sleeping on a thin mattresses on the floor in the bedroom. There is no bedroom furniture.

A single mother of three young children is in urgent need of grocery support after using her limited funds to cover an unexpected car repair. She is currently low on food and struggling to provide meals for her kids, all under age six. Temporary assistance with groceries will help ease her burden and ensure her children have access to daily nutrition. Mom is actively working to regain stability and expects to manage independently moving forward.

House consists of mom, grandma and child. Grandma and mom both work but grandma had a heart bypass not too long ago and cannot work for long periods. The mom was working but her store closed abruptly as they filed for bankruptcy. Mom’s checks from there have been bouncing as the company doesn’t have money to pay the employees right now. She got a new job but it is going to take a few weeks before she gets her first check and it will be very small since she just started. Mom also had to take a week off when her autistic child was sick and he recently had a procedure in the hospital she had to be off for as well. The family is behind right now on bills. I have helped with the bills but they need groceries, pull ups, household products such as toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.

The family recently moved to Dallas, and they are living in a hotel room. The hotel room doesn't have good ventilation and it's causing air Quilty issues. They are a one income household. Mom does keep the room clean. She is currently savings up to move out of the hotel, but this request would help with the temporary placement she has now for her and her daughter.

A lap top computer is needed for a youth in extended foster care to continue educational services.

The youth is 20 yrs of age in extened foster care. The youth is working as a mechanic and would like to obtain certiifications to become a master mechanic. The lap top would be helpful and allow him to study and do his assignments on his own and in privacy. The youth is smart and goal oriented and would love the assistance of a laptop.

A young mother (26 years-old) has 6 children and is needing assistance with furniture from their new home. The mother is currently not working as she suffers from severe depression. The four older children's father has been deceased for three years. The two younger children's father is semi-involved. The family is needing two twin bunk beds, twin mattresses, two toddler beds, toddler mattresses, a full or queen size bed and a mattress, a couch, and a dining room table. These items will be able to help assist with the children to have sleep better and be able to be prepared for school due to them having a good night's rest. And not having to sleep on the floor. Also having furniture in the home to give the children an opportunity to have a cozy and comfortable home. As Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory suggests that basic needs must be met before individuals can progress to higher-level needs. The most basic needs for survival, including air, water, food, shelter, sleep, and other biological requirements effects a person's psychological needs.

Mother and 5-year-old are currently homeless and needing assistance with temporary stay in a motel for few days until, she can find an alternate caregiver for her child. She has reached out to area shelters and none of them have spots available and there is long waiting list. She tried with her extended family members and none of them are able to help her at this time. She is requesting financial help with few days stay at Super 8 Motel in Fort Worth which cost $75 per night. She is helped by her brother for tonight.

A single mother with a 5-month-old baby is in urgent need of financial assistance to cover the cost of critical dental work. She requires 16 tooth extractions and top and bottom dentures, which will significantly improve her quality of life. Despite diligently researching and securing the lowest possible price, the total cost remains around $2,000. She is working hard to save $1,000 on her own but needs help raising the remaining half. This dental care is vital not only for her health—addressing pain and preventing further complications—but also for her ability to care for her baby. With restored oral health, she will be better equipped to eat properly, maintain her energy, and focus on building a brighter future for herself and her child. This support will provide her with the opportunity to thrive as a mother and role model for her baby.

Support needed for three amazing single mamas who are in need of funds to help cover groceries and household supplies for the next month. This includes two mamas with 5-month-old babies who need baby essentials like formula, diapers, and wipes, as well as a third mama who is pregnant and needs nutritious food and household necessities to prepare for her little one’s arrival. Any contributions, whether big or small, will go directly towards ensuring these families have what they need to stay healthy, safe, and supported during this challenging time. The family is a family of 7, consisting of a mother, father, and 5 children: a 17-year-old, 15-year-old, 13-year-old, 11-year-old, and 9-year-old. At this time the family is having financial barriers in providing basic needs for their children. The family would benefit from one dresser for the boys to store their clothing as well as a bunk bed for them to share. The family has mattresses and is just in need of a frame for the bunk beds. The family of 7 resides in a 2-bedroom home, so space is tight. Due to the financial barriers the family is unable to purchase a dresser and bunk bed frame. The family will appreciate any items given at this time. The following items are needed:
