I’m reaching out on behalf of a hardworking family of five who are in urgent need of bunk beds. The family includes two young boys who are currently without a proper place to sleep. Right now, they are making do with what they have—sharing with siblings and crowded arrangements—but it’s far from ideal, and it’s beginning to take a toll. Despite their circumstances, this family is doing everything they can to stay afloat. They are kind, humble, and trying their best to provide stability and care for their children. But like many families facing financial hardship, they’ve had to make impossible choices—and a bed is simply something they can’t afford right now. Having a real bed would not only provide the children with physical comfort and rest—it would offer a sense of normalcy, dignity, and hope. We are reaching out to get support to improve a child's safety. We have a 14 year old child with poor mental health. The last year has been extremely tough for her. She was in foster care, but recently returned to the mother. She is now getting the correct medication and support she needs for her mental health and this has improved her wellbeing significantly. However, she still struggles with sneaking out and putting herself in extremely dangerous situations due to impulse control a defiant behavior. The mother is committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure her daughter is safe and worked extremely hard to have her returned in the home. Due to this, the mother lost her job while juggling all the requirements the court has asked of her. She is doing door dash to make ends meet, but does not leave much extra income. We are asking for donations to buy tamper proof door and window alarms for the home. While the mother is going above and beyond to ensure her daughter is safe, her child is clever and still managing to sneak out at any chance she can get. These simple alarms could greatly assist the mother at adding another level of safety for the child.

Child is 1 year old and has grown out of his infant car seat. Child needs a convertible car seat in order to be transported. Parent is unable to afford a car seat for the child. Child suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome

Single mother raising her three children ages 11, 12 and 7 needs support to pay light utility bill. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she has fallen behind on her utility bill and is at risk of disconnection. Mom is caring for her children and doing her best to make ends meet. Despite her efforts, her current income is not enough to cover all her essential expenses this month. She is seeking assistance to help pay a past-due utility bill of $85.00 to ensure her family can maintain access to electricity, heat and food. Assisting this mom with this month will get her back on track.

A 16-year-old youth is currently in a kinship placement with neighbors who are in need of grocery cards for food while the child is in their home for the next few weeks.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that a family is in urgent need of rental assistance. Recently, the family faced an unforeseen hardship due to a recent hospitalization, and as a result, they have fallen into a difficult financial situation. Despite these challenges, the family is determined to keep their 17-year-old grandchild in school so they can finish out this school year.

Right now, they are $550 short on rent, and with the threat of eviction looming this coming Monday, we are desperately seeking any support that can help them stay afloat during this tough time. We currently have a family who has 4 children. The family fell on hard times due to making an agreement with someone for a new place. The family paid the deposit to someone, and the person ran off with their deposit backing out of the deal. The family is currently now staying in a motel where they are paying week to week on Wednesdays until they receive their tax refund. The family is stating that they may not have the payment for next Wednesday on 5/14 and are in need of assistance.
The family is also down to one vehicle due to one of their vehicles needing parts (2003 ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 8 Cyl 4.6L). The vehicle is in need of a timing chain, oil pump, and water pump. The grandfather has advised that he can fix the vehicle if the parents obtain the parts, but the parents do not have the extra funds to get the parts needed.

I am writing in behalf of my client is a single mother of 3 who recently experienced a DV incident, leaving her in a state of crisis. With the assistance of a navigator, she sought immediate help and was able to secure temporary transportation through PADV. Unfortunately, the transportation attempts were unsuccessful as the Uber drivers refused to transport her due to the absence of car seats for her children. The client was given a 24-hour window to reach a shelter. However, due to the transportation issues, she was unable to make it within the given time frame. The following day, she was informed that the shelter spot had been taken. She spent the next three days trying to secure another spot without success.

In the meantime, the client contacted her landlord, who changed the locks to ensure her safety and has also lowered the rent to help client. She has also applied for additional public assistance, including TANF and Cash Assistance, and currently awaiting approval. The client has been a victim of financial abuse which has left her in a vulnerable financial state. She recently discovered that her ex-partner did not pay the light bill, resulting in an outstanding balance of $209. The electricity is scheduled for disconnection on May 9th, 2025. The client is urgently seeking assistance to cover the light bill to prevent disconnection. This support is crucial for her and her children as they navigate this challenging period and work towards stability and safety.

We have a wonderful family in need of a little support as they embark on their new chapter. They are seeking assistance with their $500 move-in fee, which will help them secure their home. Additionally, they would greatly appreciate help with essential furniture and household items, like pots and pans, to make their space truly welcoming. We are requesting assistance in purchasing specialized shoes for a six-year-old child currently in foster care. This child was born with club feet and recently underwent surgery on her legs. She has just had her casts removed and now wears leg braces to support her healing and mobility.

Due to the braces, she requires comfortable, practical shoes that are easy for her foster parents to put on and will not hinder her recovery. She currently wears a child size 12, though a slightly larger size may be needed to accommodate her braces. She enjoys light-up shoes, but most importantly, the shoes must provide comfort, stability, and ease of use. She cannot stomp or place excessive pressure on her feet at this time.

We are seeking either: • A pair of light-up shoes suitable for braces, or • A gift card to allow the foster family to purchase appropriate footwear.

What will happen when this need is met: When this need is met, the child will have access to shoes that support her mobility, comfort, and healing. Proper footwear will help prevent further injury or discomfort as she adjusts to walking with braces. It will also make daily activities easier for both her and her foster parents, reducing stress and promoting her independence and confidence as she recovers.
