Hello, I have 2 teenage girls that are in need of clothes, shoes and under garments. They were living with their mother, who is verbally and emotionally abusive. Their mother struggles with substance abuse and gave away and sold all their things. The girls have very little items and continue to wash the same clothes. I am asking for gifts cards for both girls $250 a piece so they can get all the items they need.

A young mother (26 years-old) has 6 children and is needing assistance with furniture from their new home. The mother is currently not working as she suffers from severe depression. The four older children's father has been deceased for three years. The two younger children's father is semi-involved. The family is needing two twin bunk beds, twin mattresses, two toddler beds, toddler mattresses, a full or queen size bed and a mattress, a couch, and a dining room table. These items will be able to help assist with the children to have sleep better and be able to be prepared for school due to them having a good night's rest. And not having to sleep on the floor. Also having furniture in the home to give the children an opportunity to have a cozy and comfortable home. As Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory suggests that basic needs must be met before individuals can progress to higher-level needs. The most basic needs for survival, including air, water, food, shelter, sleep, and other biological requirements effects a person's psychological needs.

Mother and 5-year-old are currently homeless and needing assistance with temporary stay in a motel for few days until, she can find an alternate caregiver for her child. She has reached out to area shelters and none of them have spots available and there is long waiting list. She tried with her extended family members and none of them are able to help her at this time. She is requesting financial help with few days stay at Super 8 Motel in Fort Worth which cost $75 per night. She is helped by her brother for tonight.

Family in Alvarado, TX is in need of help. A single mom with three young children needs help as her oven recently stopped working with no apparent fix. This causes the mom difficulty with making meals for her children. An oven/stove is needed as soon as possible to help this family; this appliance will help the mom with making meals for her children and allow another piece of normalcy for the family as CPS assists in their life.

This family is facing an urgent need after a devastating car accident on Easter Sunday. Their two precious children, a 4-year-old boy and a 10-month-old girl, were safely secured in their car seats when their vehicle hit a barrier and was totaled. Miraculously, the children walked away without injuries, a true testament to the life-saving importance of proper car seat use. Tragically, their mother and grandfather were seriously hurt, and both car seats—having absorbed the impact—can no longer be safely used. Now, as the family struggles to rebuild, they must rely on the generosity of friends and family for rides to daycare and critical medical appointments. Without car seats, even these small steps forward aren’t possible. Their spirited 10-month-old, who adores Minnie Mouse, and their brave 4-year-old Spider-Man fan deserve to continue being protected every time they travel. Their parents’ greatest hope is to keep them safe and moving forward. Any support in providing them with safe, high-quality car seats would be a blessing beyond words.

Family is living off of one income and the mother is having numerous health issues. Family is requesting assistance with gas to help transport their son to and from school and to and from work for the father, to and from GED classes for the mother.

15-year-old male has been removed from mom twice already due to drug use in the home. 15-year-old is currently placed with fictive kin and will be sharing a room with another fictive kin and is in need of a bed.

Two children currently residing on a safety plan with their grandmother who are both enrolled into school, however, the grandmother receives no financial assistance from the mother and or father. The mother is absent and on the run from the law. The grandmother needs financial assistance with YMCA for summer care for the two male children. Its $80 a week after the grandmother applied for financial assistance for the summer program. The grandmother was working a remote position and was placed under the Texas state order to return back to the office and her employer is not providing any flexibility. The YMCA program would allow for the two boys to engage in healthy activities, sports and learning activities for the summer.

Single mother of 12 children is not employed at this time and has limited income. The family home does not have furniture in the common areas. They don't have a table to eat at and only have 1 small loveseat couch. They need a kitchen table and couch. This would help so they won't have to eat standing up at the kitchen counter.

Young and first-time mother of an 8-month-old child. MO is unemployed. She is not able to look for a job she does not have her birth certificate. Mother born in another state. Mother has limited support for herself and her child. She is in need of clothing to be able to look for a job when she obtains her birth certificate. She does not have hygiene products for herself and child. She does not have the financial support to purchase underwear, clothes and shoes for herself. She does not have the income to purchase clothing, hygiene products and diapers for her child. MO is in need of items to help her life and child's life better. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

MO wears small size in women, underwear small, bra 34B and women shoes size 8. MO is in need of sanitary napkins. Deodorant, body wash, wash clothes and towels. Child: clothing size 9months -12 months, and size 2 diapers.

This mom is single mom of 5 children. She recently moved to Texas, and she has no support system here. Mom needs a crib that converts to a toddler bed.
