House consists of mom, grandma and child. Grandma and mom both work but grandma had a heart bypass not too long ago and cannot work for long periods. The mom was working but her store closed abruptly as they filed for bankruptcy. Mom’s checks from there have been bouncing as the company doesn’t have money to pay the employees right now. She got a new job but it is going to take a few weeks before she gets her first check and it will be very small since she just started. Mom also had to take a week off when her autistic child was sick and he recently had a procedure in the hospital she had to be off for as well. The family is behind right now on bills. I have helped with the bills but they need groceries, pull ups, household products such as toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.

Support needed for three amazing single mamas who are in need of funds to help cover groceries and household supplies for the next month. This includes two mamas with 5-month-old babies who need baby essentials like formula, diapers, and wipes, as well as a third mama who is pregnant and needs nutritious food and household necessities to prepare for her little one’s arrival. Any contributions, whether big or small, will go directly towards ensuring these families have what they need to stay healthy, safe, and supported during this challenging time. This family is a single parent low-income household with two intellectually and developmentally disabled children that need constant care and attention from the parent. Mother is unable to have a full-time job to have the financial ability to provide the adequate furniture that is needed in the home. Mother does not have a lot of support from the community and the school has not been favorable of the mother which limits her access to resources. Medical care for the children is expensive and she pays for it out of pocket and her family helps her financially to pay the bills for the home.

The family is struggling with the condition of their home which is making it unhabitable for the children. The home is infested with roaches; the walls are covered in them to the point it appears as dirt on the wall. The home needs to be deeply cleaned and decluttered. There is a lingering odor in the home from the roaches and dirt.

The child is 15yo in 9th grade. The family moved from Irving to Dallas and He was no longer able to get to school in Irving. The local school in Dallas requires uniforms with the school logo and the mother is unable to afford. The child is in men sizes.

Single mother is caring for 8 children. Mother is requesting 4 bunk beds and a table with 4 chairs. Children were sleeping on air mattress but no longer in good sleeping condition. Having their own bed will help children have their own sleeping space. Any assistance is appreciated.

Single mom with 8 children is requesting assistance with obtaining a new/used dryer. She reported it takes almost an entire day for the clothes to dry and there are 9 people total living in the home, making it difficult for her to be caught up on laundry.

Low-income single mom is requesting assistance with obtaining 2 mattresses for her younger children. They are all currently co-sleeping on 1 bed. The Department can provide air mattresses, but we are hoping for a more long-term solution.

This is a family with father, mother and three female children ages 1,6 and 8. The father is the only one working and the mother stays at home to care for the one-year-old. The family is currently sleeping on mattresses that are on the floor and struggling financially. The family would benefit from receiving a bunk bed for the children as well as mattresses. The family would appreciate this and would relieve financial stress.

This family consists of a rambunctious 2-year-old, mom, and unborn baby sibling. The family is in need of a washer and dryer for the home which will help mom in carrying out important household needs for the family as they grow in size.

A young single mother and her 3 children are in need of one bed for the 5-year-old girl. She would need a full set for her bed including a mattress, bed frame, and bedding as the mother does not currently have the financial stability to be able to provide this for her daughter. The mother is currently not able to work as one of her children is medically fragile and is his full-time caregiver. This bed would not only lift the financial burden for the mother, but it would also greatly help the young girl be able to sleep comfortably in a safe space.

A young mother of 2 children, both under the age of 2, is needing help with getting clothing for herself and the children. She is currently on bed rest from giving birth and is unable to work at this time. The mother is also in need of a support system as she has moved states alone.

Baby supplies needed- Clothing for a 1 year old boy and 2 month old girl. Clothing for mother- sizes s-m, pants size 2 or 25-26. Undergarments needed as well
