A family is in need of a toddler frame and mattress for their three-year-old child. The father is currently sleeping on the couch in the living room so the mother and child can have the bed. The family has limited resources and the child only has a crib, which he no longer can fit in.

I have a student at my school who has come home with lice a few times. The family needs lice kits and the additional expense is difficult due to a newborn in the home too. This is a single-parent household and Mom is seeking additional assistance.

A single mother currently has custody of her 15-year-old stepdaughter and is raising five children on her own. Since the stepdaughter has come into her care, she has been sharing a bedroom with the stepmother’s biological daughter. In an effort to make space for her, the stepmother gave up her daughter’s dresser, but they are now in need of an additional dresser so that both girls have a place to store their clothes. The family is also facing clothing shortages. The stepmother’s two-year-old son is growing rapidly and wears size 4T in shirts, pants, and underwear. Due to his growth and the family’s limited financial resources, she is struggling to keep up with his wardrobe needs. The girls in the home are also in need of undergarments. They wear bra sizes 34C and 32D, and underwear in sizes extra small and medium. Additionally, the two-year-old does not currently sleep in his own room. The stepmother is working to help him transition, but he needs a toddler bed frame and a mattress to make that possible.

I'm currently working with a single mom and her three-year-old son who just got a new apartment and are moving out of a shelter. The mom had her belongings held in storage, but the storage unit leaked causing them to lose everything. The child's father is incarcerated and unable to help provide. I believe this mother and her son would greatly benefit from community aid in hopes to replace some of what was lost. The mother is requesting clothes for her son sized 4T as well as a twin- and full-size mattress. The mother would also like a kitchen table and chairs. This family in need consists of a single mom who has been working very hard to get her children back in her care. Mom has also been maintaining her sobriety; she has been sober for almost a year now and is on the track to graduate from all of her programs. Mom has four children, 3 girls (10, 2, 11 months) and 1 boy (4). Since mom has been on this positive track, she is moving closer to the children being returned to her. Every Saturday she spends time with all 4 children, and she has her 11-month-old with her all the time. Mom is requesting a twin stroller, bottles, and wipes. The twin stroller would be beneficial for mom when she is taking the children somewhere.

This family in need consists of a mother who has 3 children in foster care (ages 4, 5 and 7). The mother has been working towards reunification with the children and has recently moved into a new apartment. However, due to a recent car accident she is unemployed. In working on getting her children back home she is trying to set up the new apartment but is struggling obtaining the remaining items she needs at this time. Mom is requesting a kitchen table and chairs, a coffee table, curtain rods and curtains (standard sized windows), a full-size bedding set, 3 twin bedding sets for the children, a dresser for the kids clothing, towels, and a tv stand. Any support would be greatly appreciated at this time!

This family in need consists of both biological parents and their two children (6-year-old male and 2-year-old female). The family is struggling to manage the son's behaviors and it has bee much of the parent's focus. The family is in need of some essential household items to improve their wellbeing. We are requesting a full-size bed frame, full-size bedding set, 4 pillows, and silverware. Thank you for helping improve this family's situation.

This family in need consists of a single mother who needs assistance supporting her 10-year-old daughter. The family recently had to abruptly move and are in need of kitchen supplies so that mom may provide home-cooked meals for her daughter. The child has had a difficult school year and mom has been a huge support and advocate to get her daughter back on track with school. The child's father sadly passed a few years ago and mom has been working very hard to make ends meet. The family is requesting kitchen pots and pans (saucepans, frying pans, etc.), kitchen utensils (forks, spoons, knives), reusable dinner dishes (plates, bowls, cups), and a microwave.

The resource obtained guardianship of three children after their adoptive mother passed away. The resource is struggling financially with the unexpected expenses associated with caring for three children. A request to change the childrens' adoption subsidy to the resource has been submitted but that takes time. The resource is requesting life jackets for the children can safely swim this summer. The mother is wanting to relocate herself and her child to a relative in Texas where she will receive familial support. The mother is wanting to take her vehicle and some important belongings with her for the move. The mother is needing assistance with gas for the 27 hour drive and with purchasing a trailer to connect to her truck.

This family in need consists of a single mother raising her own 3 young children. The mother took responsibility and is caring for a 17-year old family friend. Mom works low paying jobs to pay and make ends meet. The 17-year-old would have ended up in foster care if it wasn't for this mother. The family is requesting a full-size box spring, mattress, and bed frame, XXL shirts, sweatpants, and shorts (male).

This family in need has a 17-year-old male who is currently in foster care. The child lives with the father and younger sibling in a very small apartment. The child would like to start weekend visits with the family but does not have a bed. Due to limited space, the family could use a twin over twin bunk beds. The child would really like to go on a home visit to see dad; however, having no bed to sleep on is holding that up. Is it possible to temporarily provide an air mattress until an actual bed (mattress, frame and/ or box spring) can be provided?
