Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Please consider helping get this family on their feet so they can care for their precious 2-year-old daughter the best way possible.

Mother is in need of assistance to pay rent. She is actively seeking employment while facing a challenging financial situation. Assistance would provide her the breathing room needed to focus on her search. Mother hopes to be reunified with her son and this assistance would provide support for this reunion to occur sooner than later.

This kinship foster home has placement of a maternal relative. The family is requesting a play table and chairs for a child's bedroom. The child is school age, and the play table would be a helpful tool in the home for the child to complete homework on, as well as use for crafts and other activities. The family struggles financially and the donation of a play table and chairs would help the family budget and allocate other funds towards important things such as the child's summer camp costs. This foster mother is a family friend and took this child in last minute, and has provided consistent, continued care for the duration of the kiddos time in her home. This child is only 7 yet displays a love for NASA, and loves to talk about his best friends at school. Due to his trauma, he suffers some with aggression, but is working hard on this in therapy. This kiddo is growing like a weed and the clothes that were brought for him when he was placed no longer fit him. The foster mother reached out to the Department requesting additional support for she and this child, specifically in the form of clothing and automobile assistance. This child is needing pants, underwear, socks, shoes and swim trunks. Below I have created a list with the respective sizes for each item. The foster mother is having struggles with her power steering pump, making transportation a bit of a barrier for her. We know this is a long shot, but if anyone could help with getting her a new pump, we would be so appreciative. A father recently reunified with his three children and is saving up for a vehicle. Until he is able to purchase a vehicle, the father's sister has been transporting the father and children where they need to go. This is becoming a strain on the family. A trolley pass would be a great help for this father, his children, and their support system. A pass can be purchased over the phone if a minimum amount of $50 is added to the pass. Any help to support this family would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Families with children with autism/ special needs often face unique challenges that can make it difficult for them to find environments where they feel comfortable and supported. Our goal is to provide families with children with these unique needs a safe place to have family time that is enclosed, sensory friendly, and has specialized play equipment to meet their needs. We Rock the Spectrum is an indoor all abilities sensory friendly kids play gym that has three locations in the OKC metro area (Edmond, Yukon and Norman). They have offered to host family time at reduced rates for children engaged with Child Welfare. This would be an excellent opportunity for parents to learn how to effectively meet their child’s needs in a safe and inclusive environment. For this to succeed, we need community support to purchase passes as each facility charges between 8 dollars to 12 dollars a pass. Please get with requester for more information on how to contribute to this program and meet the needs of this community.

THIS IS A GUTHRIE PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUEST Single mother of three children who has fallen on hard time and must leave her current living conditions due to unforeseen circumstances. She is needing assistance with moving into her new place. She is needing assistance with her deposit of $200.

Please help support this challenging kinship foster placement. An older sister has taken placement of her six younger siblings, ages 2 through 11. She also has her own 3 year old child. Together with her fiancé they live in an apartment. Having this many children in a relatively small space with all that energy is a lot! Foster mom is a stay at home mom and the family will need summer activities to get them out of their small apartment and get some energy out. The children love science, building, and learning. We are asking for a membership to the Oklahoma Science Museum. To accommodate foster mom, her own child, and the 5 foster children older than 3 we will need a membership for 6 and a membership for 2. This will also allow foster dad or another adult helper to go with the family.

I have a young bio parents’ mom (21) and dad (28) that will be traveling to Quapaw, Oklahoma which is a 3-hour trip one way) to visit their 5 months old twins who are in foster care. Dad is the only parent working currently. The parents plan to make this trip every two weeks. The parents have reliable transportation but need assistance in making the trip. The parents last saw their 5 months old twins 05/03, and 05/04 when the foster parents traveled with the 5 months old twins to Oklahoma City.

We have a foster mother that has really gone above and beyond to help a 13 year old boy with several disabilities, and there are 3 other children in the home. She's opened her home in order to take him in and even moved to the living room so that he can have her room instead. She's been struggling with some major home repairs and we've been unable to find help for those issues. We are asking for some help with her water/municipal utilities in order offset those other expenses. Her current water bill is $201 approx. Any help is greatly appreciated!
