Grandmother is the foster parent of her granddaughter which is currently is DHS custody. Grandmother has been trying very hard to make ends meet being that she is living off SSI. Grandmother is asking for help to transport her granddaughter back and forth to school. Grandmother is also very low on groceries and is seeking anything that can help her prepare full course meals for her granddaughter. We have a mother and daughter who have been brought back together. We have observed the mother and child to have a great bond. The mother just moved into a new apartment and will be starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. The mother has overcame many obstacle's in her life, and during our interaction with the mother we have observed an amazing turn around in her life. She is needing assistance with her rent and only has a short window of time to do so. If this barrier can eliminated it will help the mother save for incoming bills. We would like to add that this is a one time ask, because the mother believes she will be able to meet all of the needs in the home once she starts working full time. We have a father that is in need of a gas card. The father works fulltime and after paying bills he normally does not have the funds to put gas in his car. The father has talked about getting a second job and the gas card will help out until he is able to bring in extra income.

Hello, I have a foster parent in need of a couple of items to help with a baby in her care. First, she is asking for a walker. The 7-month-old she is caring for has started crawling and pulling up on everything. She would like to have the security of knowing he is not able to get himself stuck behind, between, or under something while she is cooking, cleaning, doing other household chores, or caring for the 2 two-year-olds in her care as well. That leads to her second request, a pack-and-play. The two-year-olds managed to climb into it, proceeded to jump around and broke hers. If you have either of these items that your little one may have outgrown recently, she would be very happy to take them off your hands.

I have a mom with seven children that are in reunification. She has worked hard to get her children back in her home and care. She is asking for help with a couple of things. First, to pay her electric bill. She has been working but was a bit short this month. Her bill is $78.19 and isn't due until 5/20. She would be very appreciative for help with any amount. Second, her youngest child is outgrowing her infant carrier. She is looking for help getting a reversable (rear/forward facing) car seat. She is not looking for anything fancy, just something to keep her little one safe. If you are able to assist with either of these requests, she would be most grateful.

Hello! We are looking for a little help for a father that has successfully reunified with his children. This dad has really gone above and beyond to ensure his children were returned, and issues were corrected. There were some issues at reunification that actually resulted in the kids being returned about 3 weeks ahead of schedule. Dad needs a little help meeting the financial needs a little early. We are asking for a lawn mower any in working order will help! His yard is not large so a push mower is much appreciated. Shortly after the children were returned his clothes dryer bit the dust. We are asking for an electric clothes dryer in working condition if possible. Any help is appreciated!

Please help a recently single mother who has fled from an unsafe situation. The mother has four littles all under the age of 6. The mother has taken the steps to keep her children safe by filing for divorce and relocating. The mother was displaced, and she is now attempting to rebuild her life. The mother has found a safe place for her and her children, but she is unable to come up with utility deposit. The mother does not have much support, and we would like to help her come up with the money that is required for her new home. Thank you.

Parents of five are need of transportation assistance to get to family time at the DHS office, which is difficult from their location on the bus. An Uber or Lyft card would support them to see their children.
