Burmese Family #1
Catholic Charities will welcome a Burmese refugee family in December. This family is a mom with three teenagers. We do not have beds for the family and would welcome help providing the family with beds. I do not have a firm date for when they will arrive in December, but we will set up their apartment on December 4th. Then after they are welcomed at the airport, they will go straight to their furnished apartment with their case manager!
Gender Neutral Items are best.
Catholic Charities will walk with this family thru immediate case management for 3 months after their arrival. We will help with apartment set up, legal documents (like SS#), job placement, establishing medical care, enrolling the kids in school, and much more. Helping the family with household items is a huge way to help the family get established in Tulsa!

This request is to help get a home certified to become a foster placement. The child is a 12 year old currently placed with his grandmother. Foster care requires all pets to have their rabies vaccination. The family has 6 dogs needing rabies vaccinations. Southern Agriculture at 1034 East Lansing Street in Broken Arrow provides rabies vaccinations for $15 per dog. The pet vaccinations are one of the few remaining barriers to getting the grandmother's home fully certified. The certification of the home will provide additional financial support for the family and more importantly bring the grandmother another step closer to being able to adopt her grandson.

A father is working a prevention case and is ready to engage in services. He visits his younger children and has an older child full time. His son has a lot of medical needs and this father has a car, but it needs some front end work to be operational. The father is doing the work himself, but is needing help with the parts as he is currently unemployed. He needs to get his car up and running to provide transportation for his son and to get to work when he finds work.
We are asking for help obtaining parts for his car.
We are also asking for anyone who knows of labor/construction/machine work to help provide him with leads.
He has lots of experience in construction, demolition, driving some heavy machinery, and general labor. He has also had experience training people at Amazon.
Thank you for all the help you provide our families in their times of need!

I have two parents who are attempting to reunify with their two children. The dad and mom both just started new jobs. They currently have a disconnect on their electric bill and need help paying this PSO bill.
There is a foster family in need of help with their electric bill. The home is a single mom with 7 of her own biological children and 2 foster children. The family is needing help with $900 electric bill payment or partial payment towards the bill. Foster mom owns her own business, and it is slower in the winter months and her income drops. Foster mom has not been fully approved yet and is not receiving payments to help with her electric bill.

There are two children placed in a kinship home. They are in need of bedframes for their twin size beds. The children have been in the home for almost 2 years. The children were previously sleeping on a bunk bed, which they tore down because it was not able to support the growing children. The children currently have two twin size mattresses that are placed on the floor. The bed frames would need to be as compact as possible. The room is not large in size, which limits the amount of space for the frames.
