A single mother of three young children is in urgent need of grocery support after using her limited funds to cover an unexpected car repair. She is currently low on food and struggling to provide meals for her kids, all under age six. Temporary assistance with groceries will help ease her burden and ensure her children have access to daily nutrition. Mom is actively working to regain stability and expects to manage independently moving forward.

House consists of mom, grandma and child. Grandma and mom both work but grandma had a heart bypass not too long ago and cannot work for long periods. The mom was working but her store closed abruptly as they filed for bankruptcy. Mom’s checks from there have been bouncing as the company doesn’t have money to pay the employees right now. She got a new job but it is going to take a few weeks before she gets her first check and it will be very small since she just started. Mom also had to take a week off when her autistic child was sick and he recently had a procedure in the hospital she had to be off for as well. The family is behind right now on bills. I have helped with the bills but they need groceries, pull ups, household products such as toilet paper, cleaning products, etc.

A lap top computer is needed for a youth in extended foster care to continue educational services.

The youth is 20 yrs of age in extened foster care. The youth is working as a mechanic and would like to obtain certiifications to become a master mechanic. The lap top would be helpful and allow him to study and do his assignments on his own and in privacy. The youth is smart and goal oriented and would love the assistance of a laptop.

This family is a single parent low-income household with two intellectually and developmentally disabled children that need constant care and attention from the parent. Mother is unable to have a full-time job to have the financial ability to provide the adequate furniture that is needed in the home. Mother does not have a lot of support from the community and the school has not been favorable of the mother which limits her access to resources. Medical care for the children is expensive and she pays for it out of pocket and her family helps her financially to pay the bills for the home.

The child is 15yo in 9th grade. The family moved from Irving to Dallas and He was no longer able to get to school in Irving. The local school in Dallas requires uniforms with the school logo and the mother is unable to afford. The child is in men sizes.

Low-income single mom is requesting assistance with obtaining 2 mattresses for her younger children. They are all currently co-sleeping on 1 bed. The Department can provide air mattresses, but we are hoping for a more long-term solution.

i have a single mother on my caseload with a one year old child. her utilities were recently shut off and they both really need them turned back on asap please.

Marijuana smoke from other people unrelated to the household who smokes in front of the apartment is coming into the apartment. House and the child both have been observed with the smell of marijuana. It would be beneficial for the child to have apartment weather proofed to avoid smoke coming in.

Single mother of 2 year old and 13 year old is currently bouncing from place to place with the children. When they left their previous home, they were not able to take clothes or other belongings. The children are in need of clothes, especially the 13 year old. Any clothing such as socks, underwear, shirts, and pants would be helpful for the children. Pull ups for the 2 year old and hygiene items are needed as well.

Newborn son was born at 22weeks and older two children are highly autistic. Mom works part time but dad does not work. The children need clothes and help with cleaning the home or cleaning services help.

I have a family where the five year old girl is residing with her dad who is trying to get on his feet financially. The little girl is currently sleeping on a toddler bed, and she has outgrown it.

I have a family who is moving into an apartment and are currently short about 250 dollars to finish paying security deposit and first month's rent.
